Francesca the excellent host is extremely knowledgeable about Puglia and is happy to recommend restaurants and local towns worth visiting. Nothing was too much trouble. Il Trullino is a couple of minutes drive to Ostuni with its numerous restaurants and bars. It is also a short drive to the beach.
