We travelled by train and bus and the hotel was a short walk uphill from the bus stop. We were warmly greeted and checked into a large hotel room with a dining area that was turned into a bedroom at night by the staff. There was also a sitting area with a view of the mountains. Dinner and breakfast had expansive buffets with Japanese and western options. The Onsen was amazing with multiple baths inside and outside that had various curative waters. Very close to this hotel was the walk through the thermal features of Noboritbetsu.

Buffet breakfast and dinner are included and are delicious. The onsen is amazing and the clothing the hotel provides to walk around is extremely convenient. We went on a skiing vacation and drove to Rusutsu every day (about 30 min drive) and didn't expect to enjoy the hotel as much as we did. In the end, it was as memorable as the skiing.
