Hotel Heladiv ligt op een rustige locatie en wordt omgeven door weelderig groen, op 6 km van de luchthaven SLAF Anuradhapura. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. We only stayed one night but the hotel was Excellent, clean and modern. The breakfast was good and plentiful and we had a great dinner there as well at a very Reasonable price.

Literally everything at this property was not just likeable but lovely. It's a cosy little haven in the middle of nowhere, hidden in the outskirts of the ancient city. The rooms are quite spacious and furnished with good quality fittings, and the garden is well maintained giving a homely vibe. The staff were excellent in all aspects, and the owners are leading by example. They are all true professionals with utmost courtesy. If you are looking for a place to stay relaxed and away from the city hustle and closer to the ancient city of Anuradhapura and the lush forests and lakes, this is hands down the best place to be. The food is also superb in terms of taste, presentation, and portion size.

Kaala Kalaththewa Luxury Eco Resort ligt in Anuradhapura, op 6 km van Attikulama Tank, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. It was exceptional. The staff was professional and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The whole resort was clean, spacious and beautifully designed. It's located in a small forest with butterflies, pheasants, a variety of wild birds and cute chickens. You can take a walk, play badminton, go to the nearby lake or visit the temples in anuradhapura or mihintale - it's very close. The hosts can arrange tours as well - we went to Anuradhapura with a guide and it was very fun and a fair price. Also the food: try the Sri Lankan breakfast it's delicious! We loved the tree house - it was so relaxing when it was rainy. They even offered room service. :) long story short - a must stay. Ps: please note that there is nature around. It's a tree house in a jungle-like forest. There are occasionally frogs and other visitors on your terrace. We loved it though.

During my trip to Polonnaruwa, my car broke down in Habarana, forcing me to stay overnight. I booked a room at Gabaa Resort, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience despite the unexpected situation. The staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help me find a reliable garage and get my car fixed promptly. The room was clean and comfortable, providing much-needed relaxation. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, exceeding my expectations. Though my stay was brief, the exceptional service and hospitality left a lasting impression. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Ze spreken nauwelijks Engels, maar doen er alles aan om het naar je zin te maken. Ruime schone en eenvoudige kamer en badkamer. Nieuw mooi zwembad in de tuin. Sri Lankaans ontbijt en diner was uitgebreid en voortreffelijk. Safari kan voor je geregeld worden en de tuk tuk stond 05.00 uur in de ochtend klaar om je naar The Lion Rock te rijden. Het neefje dat af en toe aanwezig is spreekt vloeiend Engels en helpt de familie met de communicatie. Je bent hier te gast bij een locale ♥️ familie. Het is een prima uitvalsbasis om diverse activiteiten te ondernemen.

Arachchi Heritage is goed gelegen in Anuradhapura, en biedt kamers met airconditioning, gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en roomservice. Hidden gem in Anuradhapura. Would love to come back. The architecture of the place and the rooms are excellent.

The owners, Leo and Wanda, couldn’t do enough to help our stay go smoothly. They helped shape are itinerary and suggestions additions that were fantastic, eg Sri Lankan dance show at the cultural centre, organising a fabulous yoga teacher, as well as great safari. Relaxed and happy vibe to the place with lovely pool area.

VISU VILLA hotel bevindt zich in Habarana, op 10 km van Pidurangala-rots, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. It’s very rustic and simple. AC is very functional. There were a few hiccups, but the outstanding staff addressed everything immediately. Everything I tried on the menu was delicious. There isn’t a lot to do in Habarana, but it’s a great location to stay if you want to visit the cave temple, Sigiriya, Miniriya and Polonnaruwa. The first three are less than 30 mins away. Polonnaruwa was a fast hour.

Blooming Holiday Resort bevindt zich in Anuradhapura, op 4,2 km van Anuradhapura Railway Station, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. My wife and I stayed at Blooming for two nights and loved it! It’s a bit away from downtown Anaradhapura (like Tuk Tuk distance) but that made it very private and we had no issues with noise. The room was spotless on arrival and everything worked as expected. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the TV was a nice bonus. The beds were comfortable and we slept well! The bathroom had great water pressure and was clean too! We had breakfast there both mornings and dinner once. The dinner was an additional charge but it was well worth it! They fed us so much food and it was all homemade Sri Lankan! We also used the pool both days and that was a nice break from the Sri Lankan heat.
