The location is amazing and the staff is very friendly. They have a limited menu, but the food was very delicious. Ideal place if you are looking for a place with a laid back, calm vibe. Loved the colonial look of the place and the furniture. Bathroom was very spacious. We even had a evening walk arround the area as it looked mesmerizing walking amidst the tea plantation.

The property is on the Main Badulla road, but a bit away from town, about 5mins by car, which was okay for us as it helped us wind down by sunset, and the property became quite cozy with no external sounds or bright lights.

The hotel is located in a large tea garden only with 39 rooms, next to a local village, a quiet place with great tea garden view and full of fresh air. The hotel has designed several hiking path for the guest, worth to try. The staff here is extremely friendly and considerate. They almost thought about everything I needed during my stay. The quality of the service here is impressive.

I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
