I also had the pleasure of meeting the Resort GM, Mr. Thaha Yoosuf, and was really impressed by the resort’s commitment to sustainability and reef protection. The ongoing beach nourishment project helps preserve the island and its coral reefs from erosion - it’s great to see a resort taking such responsible steps to protect its natural beauty. The management is now finalizing an exciting new addition - a collection of stunning water villas on the resort’s iconic sandbank. We can’t wait to come back with our family and friends to experience it! A huge thank-you to Chef Chaminda from the Aqua Restaurant - every meal felt like dining at a Michelin-star restaurant ⭐️, an unforgettable culinary journey. And our butler Simal deserves special praise for making sure everything ran perfectly smoothly throughout our stay. Our Villa attendant Suranga did an excellent job of keeping our water villas in a perfect condition. Shattu from the WaterSports section provided both useful lessons and entertainment to both of our sons - thank you so much for keeping all our water activities safe and so full of fun 🤩! Sun Siyam Vilu Reef remains one of our all-time favorite Maldivian resorts — a perfect blend of beauty, comfort, and heartfelt service. Highly recommended! 🌺

Angsana Velavaru biedt accommodatie aan het strand met 3 restaurants met watervilla's en privézwembaden op het eiland Velavaru (schildpaddeneiland). Both water villas and beach villas were comfy and clean. One of the main advantages of this place is the Staff. They were super responsive and polite. I would certainly recommend this place for a visit.

Wat een schitterend eiland! De stranden, het water, de zwembaden, het eten, het huisje, werkelijk alles was geweldig. We zijn op enorm veel plekken geweest in de wereld, maar dit overtrof veel! Het voelde vooral niet druk aan waardoor je het stukje strand voor het huisje echt voor jezelf had. We komen hier zeker terug!

All the way from arrival to departure was so well organized, we felt like VIPs all the way! We were upgraded to beach villa with pool, which was so amazing, the outer bathroom / shower was my favourite, the fresh air, the nature, the serenity! Our garden with pool was so nice and we had direct access to the beach. As almost noone is at the beach, we felt like it was our private. The room could use some updates, but we enjoyed anyway. We had half-board and I very much recommend - the food was amazing and every day there is a different theme, e.g. Asian night, pasta night, Mongolian night, etc., we gained like million kilos there. We were there with the baby and everyone were helping with him as well. Our server Laila was so sweet and attentive, but also everyone else was as well. They read our wishes from our eyes and they knew exactly what we wanted and needed and provided right away. We also had the opportunity to stay in the Ocean villa, where we were also given an upgrade - it was amazing! The floating breakfast is so worth it, we took the Asian version, and it was soooo good! The Ocean villas' restaurant was included for dinner when you stay in the Ocean villa and oh my god how good the food was! Although the inside of the restaurant had a lot of small bugs (I think I have an idea, what they were, I will not write this here), which made me a little panic, but this was the only place I saw these, nowhere else. Sadly it came to our departure day, and this was organized so well, we had to leave quite early, at 07:00, so they organized everything, sent to our room the schedule, how the next day would be, they even opened the breakfast especially for us very early, which was so sweet! There are a lot of activities you can do for free there, so you will not get bored. I could write more, but the space will run out. :D Anyway, we enjoyed a lot, it was our dream come true, thank you so much everyone!!!
