What did I like ? Absolutely everything. The location was amazing. Wonderful views over the city. My room was splendid. Spacious, spotless and comfortable. The hosts? I only met Billy on introduction when he showed me around their Wonderful space. If you like art and quirky? You are going to love this. He couldn't do enough to make sure I was going to be comfortable. Ira , I met before breakfast. You can get fresh coffee as early as 7 am . It was like talking with a long time friend . I Absolutely adored her. A great sense of humour, very intelligent and nothing for breakfast was too much trouble. She makes the most amazing breakfast I must add. Her pancakes are to die for . She made plenty and my eyes wanted to eat more but my stomach is saying no, you eat too much lol. Her eggs are divine too! She certainly cooks with love . When I come back I plan on staying longer and will most definitely Absolutely stay here . Just a wonderful homely feel and I couldn't have asked for more. Casa de Tillie beschikt over een buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en biedt accommodatie in Guanajuato met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Casa de Tillie was great. The owners, Flo and René, were exceptionally helpful in terms of logistics and recommendations, and moreover are super nice people. The B&B itself is large, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast - different every day and delicious each time - was excellent, and (importantly for me) the coffee was good, strong, and plentiful. Laundry facilities worked great and there's a nice pool/jacuzzi area that Flo and René were kind enough to open up for us at my son's request despite the weather being too chilly for a sane adult to want to use it. They provided plenty of recommendations and advice, both for sites and places to eat, and help in finding a driver to take us on the next leg of our trip, to Guadalajara. Maybe the bit that is most illustrative of how helpful I found them is that on the morning of our checkout the driver they had recommended texted me saying he wasn't feeling well and was looking for a replacement. Originally I'd have been pretty stressed/worried, but by then I'd communicated with him a lot and moreover implicitly trusted anyone who Flo and René had recommended to me. And indeed another driver was found and the drive was completed without a hitch. One thing to note is that the B&B is about a ten minute walk outside of the center, up a pretty steep hill with a decent amount of traffic. I'd consider walking up myself but with a child we took (ubiquitous and cheap) Ubers each time.

Cuna del Cielo ligt in San Miguel de Allende, op 1,8 km van Iglesia de S. Miguel Arcangel en 1,7 km van Historisch Museum van San Miguel de Allende. Locatie en ‘huis’ zijn adembenemend, het is heerlijk rustig, temperatuur is aangenamer dan beneden in San Miguel, er heerst een zeer ontspannen sfeer en we werden heerlijk verwend door Fabi (?). Wil je een keertje zelf koken, een was draaien, van een massage genieten of een yogales, een speciaal dieet, acupunctuur…. vraag maar aan Viktor en het wordt geregeld.
