This was the highlight of my entire journey through the north – a truly exceptional hotel in every aspect. The room was impeccably clean, tastefully furnished, and had a warmth that contrasted beautifully with the snowy Arctic landscape outside. The name "The View" is no coincidence – the panorama from the windows is breathtaking. Although the restaurant at the hotel was closed in the evening, the staff had an agreement with a restaurant in town offering a 10% discount – a thoughtful and convenient touch. The dinner I had there was nothing short of exquisite: a creamy seafood soup and fresh local catch of the day – truly some of the best food I enjoyed in Norway. Breakfast the next morning? Absolutely the best I had on the whole trip. Fresh, generous, and served in a room flooded with morning light and framed by views of snow-covered mountains. The town of Honningsvåg itself is charming, with its working harbour, fishing boats, and colourful houses set against the stark white hillside. It felt like stepping into a painting.

The hotel is situated in a very calm area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant is top. The wellness-area and the swimming pool are new and clean. We could park our historic car in the garage. The rooms are well-equipped with a nice view on the fjord.

This couple, especially the male host, showed us exceptional warmth and kindness throughout our stay. Although the house is older, the interior is beautifully updated and feels modern and well-designed. It is equipped with a fully functional kitchen, and we spent a very comfortable evening there. Even though we stayed for only one night, this couple left a deep and lasting impression on us. Being there felt like being at home, as if we were visiting loved ones we hadn’t seen in a long time. We are truly grateful for all the help and care they provided. We highly recommend this place to all travelers, especially because of this wonderful couple. They are genuinely welcoming to guests from all over the world, and their hospitality makes this place truly special.

Pulizia, comodità dei letti, accoglienza della casa mobile. Inoltre abbiamo ricevuto un upgrade per cui avevamo appartamento con cucina e bagno. Siamo arrivati tardi la sera e il receptionist ha risposto subito al tel dandoci indicazioni su come recuperare le chiavi e raggiungere la casa.
