Quello che deve essere ben chiaro è che l'automobile (per chi la noleggia) è a 1,3 km di distanza dalla casa, il tragitto va fatto a piedi e comprende salite e discese su strada sterrata, comunque bellissima perchè immersa nel bosco con vista oceano.

The property itself was beautifully maintained, could not have been a nicer setting, everything was there, including an amazing common area.

Hotel Os Moinhos is located in São Jorge Island, with views over the highest mountain in Portugal, sited in nearby Pico Island. The view over the ocean, the charm of the stoned-walls, the high ceilings, the in-house restaurant.

Huge apartment right in the town, a few minutes walk to the supermarket and to the main hotel where we had breakfast and could use the pool. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and called us a taxi when we wanted to come back from a walk early, helped us with a hire car, and arranged a taxi to the airport. The beds were comfortable, it has a lovely living room and kitchen. The kitchen has basic cookware, it could do with some oven trays etc to make the most of having the kitchen. Everything is very new and clean.

Very nice and comfortable rooms, which are really spacious. Besides that everything is well maintained and cleaned. The biggest plus is that it is family owned, so the host really welcomes you like family and takes his time to welcome you and tell you more about the island and can even give tips on which parts of the island to visit when it's foggy
