Gorgeous location, quiet, mountains behind us, ocean in the front. The property itself was beautifully maintained, could not have been a nicer setting, everything was there, including an amazing common area.

Hotel Os Moinhos is located in São Jorge Island, with views over the highest mountain in Portugal, sited in nearby Pico Island. We loved the comfort, the silence, the view, the staff (very helpful, run by a family), and the restaurant had the best food of the island.

Huge apartment right in the town, a few minutes walk to the supermarket and to the main hotel where we had breakfast and could use the pool. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and called us a taxi when we wanted to come back from a walk early, helped us with a hire car, and arranged a taxi to the airport. The beds were comfortable, it has a lovely living room and kitchen. The kitchen has basic cookware, it could do with some oven trays etc to make the most of having the kitchen. Everything is very new and clean.

You can even watch the sinset from the patio and the host Monica is very helpful. Just an overall great experience, would highly recommend!

The breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to the day. This hotel provided the ideal setting to relax and recharge. I loved every moment and will definitely return!

Perched on the mountains of São Jorge Island, Cantinho offers a furnished terrace with an infinity pool and a hot tub. It offers luxurious, air-conditioned apartments with a private patio. Loved the space it provided, Kitchen items were great. The breakfast was good, the pool was nice. Grounds were well taken care of. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
