The cozy hotel was very nicely put together. The interior was modern but also classical and the Spa zone was amazing with a Sauna and a small pool! The breakfast was great and the free Fika (Coffee and small sweet treats) was also very nice. We booked our stay with an included dinner which was also very good - nothing to fancy or complicated but very good and simple and freshly made. The staff really took care of everything. You really felt at home. The entire hotel is accessible for people with disabilities and has elevators and enough room for everything. Towels for swimming/Sauna are provided in the Spa Zone, and a cozy big bathrobe was prepared in the rooms. Hairdryer was available and our room did not lack any luxury. For this price a definite thumbs up from me. I can recommend a nice relax stay for a weekend and I will come back again if the chance arises.

Everything! Nice clean place, very service orientated staff, the 2 bathrooms were very welcome and everything from living, to bathrooms to kitchen was well equipped, nothing missing.

Situated in Järvsö Village, by the River Ljusnan, this family-run hotel offers regional cuisine, a large garden and a 9-hole golf course. The dinner was lovely, we had to have something else than the fish sadly (two pregnant ladies and one with allergies) but they fixed it quick and easy and gave us great steak instead! The spa and all help from staff with drinks and anything we asked for was amazing. We got to play in the gazebo with living lights late into the evening and couldn’t have been happier. Breakfast buffet was also great!

Högbo Brukshotell & Spa is situated in a former ironworks area in the village of Högbo, 700 metres from Högbo Golf Club. It offers free WiFi. Guests can enjoy a range of outdoor activities. This is a sprawling resort property 2 Hours drive north of Stockholm. The walking trails through the lush surrounding forest were nothing less than magnificent. The resort offers every manner of sport, with bicycling, canoeing, kayaking and swimming in the lakes on the property. We also loved the lakes in the surrounding area, where we were able to swim out to a raft 100 yards from the shore. The resort is family friendly and was delight for our children and the friends we traveled with. The food and the restaurant is nothing less than superb, and included a daily breakfast buffet is worthy of a Roman Emperor! There was every manner of breakfast foods imaginable, including six kinds of yogurt, many meats, varieties of jams, sauces, and fruits, egg dishes made wit cream, incredible breads in an all you can eat format. What a great vacation we had.

Set next to the river Gavleån and Motorway E4, this hotel provides free Wi-Fi and free access to gym, sauna and indoor pool. Central Gävle is 5 minutes' drive away. Given this hotel mostly targets road travellers, it's close to the highway, the on-site parking lot is very spacious and free, the restaurant is open until late, and as we were leaving very early they took care and prepared a small breakfast with cold cuts, yoghurts, and coffee for us.
