We had a great time and the hosts were always helpful and made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

L'albergo si trova in un edificio che un tempo era adibito a fabbrica di sapone per cui è interessante da un punto di vista architettonico e di recupero di vecchie strutture. La camera era molto ampia, con arredamento volutamente datato. Comodo l'ampio parcheggio gratuito in uno spazio antistante l'hotel. Abbiamo anche apprezzato molto la cena nel ristorante all'interno dell'albergo.

The breakfast was really delicious with ample choice. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious. Lots of free parking spaces. Nice nature trail near the hotel. The staff was friendly and professional. The separate house which we stayed in was really quiet.

We attended a wedding at the manor and decided to extended our stay to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside. There's a gorgeous lake and you can go for a refreshing plunge (but the area has lots of waterlilies so can't do proper swimming) and hire a kayak. We also walked around the lake - it was great but would recommend borrowing the cycles from the manor as the 15-20km is more of a leisurely bike ride distance. Surrounded by idyllic countryside: flower fields where you can pick your own for a small donation, grain fields, cows and horses, old-fashioned barns, summerhouses, woods with blueberries and cowberries, lakes, etc. Comfy bed, clean new facilities, great breakfast. The main manor house is gorgeous.
