Penzion Fako is located in the quiet area, 3,5 km from the centre of Liptovský Mikuláš and 3 km from the Opalisko Ski Resort. A tennis court and free WiFi are available. The check in was without meeting anyone and the directions that were sent to me by email were easy to understand and we got up into our room quickly. Never saw a person the whole time we were there. My son’s apartment was just around the corner so location was perfect!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the surrounding views of the mountains made it feel like a true getaway. Ideal spot for families — we’ll definitely be back!

The apartment was spotless, more clean than any hotel we've ever been to. The parking is secure, so you don't need to worry about your car. You get your own remote for the gate, so you can come and go as you wish, no need to bother the hosts. There's a separate locked room where you can leave your ski and a room with floor heating to dry out your ski boots. Getting to Jasná ski resort (Lúčky) takes 20 minutes maximum by car.
