There are tours available and they took us to the morning market and gave us a cooking lesson of a local speciality. You have to book early as there are only 4-5 rooms- this is absolutely the best accommodation around here! Thank you Quan and Hanh who are both so kind, and Tuyen (handsome and funny)! It is rural, so you are surrounded by coconut palms and roosters, lovely to bike around the area.

The location overlooking the river, the owner and the staff who gave us the best service and treatment, the food was delicious. We took the 5 hour Mekong river toot with the owner, it was authentic, interesting he gave us a lot of information about the river and living by the river. The pool was a great saver in the hot hours, it was always clean and well maintained. The guest can use bicycles for free, to ride between the beautiful village around.

Mooi hotel op geweldige locatie. Fijn zwembad. Enorm vriendelijk personeel. Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk. Elke dag kon je kiezen uit een extra drankje, thee op de kamer of een voetenbadje. My stay at this hotel was simply amazing and the staff of the hotel made it even better. It is located within a 2USD Grab ride from both Ben Tre and My Tho city centre. The room was perfect and the views to the Mekong are the best. I would definetely recommend to stay here.

Rooster Mekong Resort heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een restaurant en een bar in Cho Lach. The room was spacious, hotel area well kept with lots of shade, sitting spots, plants and garden. The pool was the highlight for our kids - spacious, most of the time only for us, right on the riverbanks of Mekong. The hotel manager ( lady at the reception) was very helpful, aranged for us a short boat trip with biking and even went with us as guide. Bikes were available for us during the ehole stay. The area is not turisty at all, we havent´t seen any other foreign turist in 3 days in the village - this was a plus for us, but can be a minus for other people.

You can easily get there by bus, and move around the homestay and to town with bycicle, beautiful surroundings. Dinner at the homestay was good!
