I recommend that the pillows be regularly washed or that they put pillow covers.My pillow was saliva stained and didn't smell great.

Ottimo hotel, situato nel centro di Graaff-Reinet, con personale molto accogliente. La struttura è semplicemente fantastica e accogliente, molto belle le sale interne , il bar e la sala dove vengono serviti i pasti principali. Le camere sono ricavate negli ex cottage che una volta ospitavano gli schiavi. Abbiamo richiesto la cena in camera per mia figlia stava poco bene, servizio ottimo e veloce, consiglio a tutti il loro Agnello del Karoo, penso di non aver mai mangiato qualcosa di più buono. Ottima la colazione e la scelta proposta. Sicuramente se dovrò tornare a Graaff-Reinet il Drostdy Hotel sarà la mia unica scelta.

Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Absolutely perfect and beautiful hotel. Our stay was amazing and the chalets are fantastic! Everything is very clean, the food is outstanding and the staff is extremely friendly!

The rooms have a modernised twist but still keep the history in the rooms! We met Jane, Peter and Cathleen and they are warm and welcoming, they really made our stay even better!! The rest of the staff is also so friendly! You can tell that this property is full of peace! Stay here for a night, and it will quickly become your favourite place in Graaff-Reinet! So grateful that this was our first stop! We will definitely be back!

Lindy the owner is delightful, truly warm and professional and highly experienced in hosting travelers. Sinoka the hostess is a great soul who made sure our every need was met. We were in a charming thatched roof cottage and also enjoyed the three outside pool side areas in the sunlight afternoon which are decorated with interesting regional curios and local art pieces. All and all a refreshing place to park when in the East London at ea!! .
