This is a brand-new, very stylish hotel. I loved it! The rooms are comfortable and exciting. All staff members are helpful and very pleasant. We enjoyed chatting with them very much, but they were also very efficient at their work and made sure everything was running smoothly. Besides all the other delicacies they offer for breakfast, fresh bread is also something to remember. I also loved the cow farm that this high-end hotel restaurant window overlooks—it seemed exciting to us. We got a free Ticino card at the reception, including free public transportation and discounts at some Locarno city attractions, a nice bonus.

This hotel is amazing. Dogs here are not only allowed, but actually welcome. We traveled together with our dog. There was a bed for the dog, a bowl and a gift for the dog in the room. Everything else was wonderful - comfortable beds, great view from the window, very delicious breakfast and friendly staff, parking next to the building.

This is really a top hotel. Modern rooms with safe inside, closets and perfect bathroom. They are really nicely sound proofed and they brag with that. We did not have breakfast, but the reception and the bar/resturant were well visited, so I assume people liked it there. It was a single night stay, so we could not fully enjoy the experience, but I would come back anytime for certain.

The hotel is in a picturesque valley just next to the waterfall. We were invited to celebrate the New Year countdown at the balcony with fellow guests, with complimentary bubblies, and unforgettable fresh snow. There is only one word that can describe the hotel - wooow! Location, facilities, food, staff.. I don't remember the last time I had such a nice stay. The hotel is very chic and elegant. Food is one time, gosh the dinner deserves a Michelin star, I felt the umami there. You have to go and experience it yourself, you won't regret, I can promise you. Wellness area was amazing, too. The infinity pool, the jacuzzi, the sauna.. all with a view towards the mountains. Respect to the Goller Family for creating such a jewel and for taking an active part in running the hotel. My birthday happened to be during my stay in the hotel and the whole staff made sure it is a birthday I will never forget. Looking forward to my next visit.

Upon checking in, we were provided with a Berchtesgaden card each, which provided us with free transport in the area and discounts at multiple attractions, we were also provided a map and booklet showcasing the attractions accessible with the card. Our room was perfect, plenty of space, and a balcony with seating area. The room was cleaned on each of the four days we stayed and the cleaning staff were very friendly when we bumped into them in the corridors. Breakfast was fantastic, with a full continental range on offer, some hot cooked items, and a hot drinks machine. As for location, it couldn't be any better situated unless it was on the lake itself, it's less than a minute walk to the ferry terminal, very close to lots of paths for any walkers, and 5 minutes walk from the bus station if you want to use your Berchtesgaden card to tour the local area. I would also highly recommend eating in the hotel restaurant in the evening at least once. The venison goulash had so much flavour, and is my favourite meal of our 2 week tour of Germany and Austria, and the boiled beef was great too!

Tauernspa is so good that we didn’t want to go skiing. A huge area of so many activities! The water world, the sauna world, the hotel spa, you will not know which to choose first. The room was spacious, with big storing space for the luggage, warm, clean, modern. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Great quality and variety. For dinner there is the buffet and a choice for the main course between 4 menus. Everything we tried the 3 days of our stay was great in taste and presentation. There is a garage on -2 floor and they have trolleys to carry your luggage easily. If you go early the first day they give you access to the spa before the check in. Very friendly staff. Not to miss: •The cocktail hour in the outside 36 degrees pool by the snow. •The big sauna events- especially the rock’n’ roll and the pirate- at 90 degrees and a dive in the cold pool after that! •The panorama glass-wall pool on the top floor. Highly recommended!!!

The Ebner's Waldhof am See Resort & Spal has very spacious family rooms. The spa area, especially the heated pool, is magnificent. You can come to lunch in a terry robe straight from the spa area. I really liked the food - a large variety of tasty and healthy food - you can even make your own smoothie from apples, carrots, sellerei and ginger. For dinner, you can choose from several menus, including vegetarian cuisine. Dinner dishes are served and decorated at the level of Michelin 5 stars. Every day the hotel has a new plan of events. The hotel is run by a family, their care and attention are present in every corner of the hotel. The atmosphere in the hotel is very warm, welcoming and friendly.

The most beautiful place I have ever stayed at! It was the favorite part of my trip - hotel was absolutely mindblowing, it looked like something from a history book and I loved it. Bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom looked brand new, and the view was extraordinary! Had dinner at the restaurant which faces the waterfall and the food was incredible, the staff probably the nicest I’ve ever experienced. And the BREAKFAST was the best breakfast I have ever had at any hotel before!! Would 100000% recommend this hotel to anyone and I could come to stay here again!

Beautiful city with great history Easy to get around Whilst Austrians celebrate Xmas on the 24 Dec many visitors were left with little options for dining with most shops and restaurants closed We were fortunate to find after weeks of looking a great restaurant Classic Cafe open and enjoyed Xmas eve dinner in a warm and friendly environment And you can’t go to Salzburg and not do the sound of music tour just good old fun and we were blessed with Snow tick the box white Xmas

Innsbruck is such a pretty place surrounded by spectacular mountains. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We went up to the top of Nordkette and Patscherkofel which had the most amazing views. It was a holiday I will never forget and will be recommending to my friends.

Zermatt was a very lovely walkable village. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip up to Mt Gorenat and the Glacier Paradise. Both trips are amazing and should be taken. Then wander the village and enjoy the buildings and the views.

Poco Loco was as good as ever. Tried Josephine for the first time and it was excellent food! There 20th - 23rd December. Chamonix was struggling for snow. Fine above the first gondola, but no snow below it. Sign of the times I suppose. Maybe Whistler Blackcomb for the next trip...

Bolzano was stunning , we spent the evening at the Christmas markets , everything was handmade and truly authentic Italian . Delicious food and drinks . Fabulous setting and all the shops really went all out decorating for Christmas. Best experience ever !

Trento is a beautiful city surrounded by mountains. There are many quaint streets, plazas and areas to visit. A visitors pass is included in the tourist tax which gives you free travel on buses and the cable car. The centre is very walkable, great place to visit.

The town is well-organized and clean, with good hospitality and smooth check-in/check-out experiences at most accommodations. Travel Tip: Plan your train tickets from the station or bus tickets from Interlaken to the Top of Europe (Jungfraujoch) in advance. Otherwise, taking a taxi can be very costly. Booking early ensures a smooth and budget-friendly trip to this iconic destination.

Monteux is an exceptional place. we visited the Christmas...

Monteux is an exceptional place. we visited the Christmas markets and had a day out at Gstaad. Boats were not running, but it was winter, so we knew that. We took the MOB to Gstaard, train was excellent - Gstaard exceptional for a few hours visit. We decided to go and walk through the cobbled area of Old Town Montreux, but thee was nothing there -nice view when we go to the top, but nothing interesting on the way up.

We didn't eat out much as accomodation had a very well equipped kitchen. Public transport was punctual and free with a Sommer Card provided by our hosts. All lift passes that we used were free also. The only cost was a booking fee for getting up to the Schladming Galcier. (PREPARE TO QUE FOR THIS ONE). Be aware that shops are closed for religious holidays etc.

Solden isn't my favourite- but we were early in the season...

Solden isn't my favourite- but we were early in the season so didn't get the true vibes. It sells itself as a big ski area, but it felt like smaller parts connected rather than a big area. It has long run which I think give it the km but the valley runs are not open in early season ( as expected) The views however are gorgeous and. Nice variety of ski runs especially when it's the first week back and you want to be easy on the legs. The village was one long street. That was then easy to navigate. I don't understand why there are so many table top dancing bars and so glaringly obvious! That is not what we go to Austria for and it really drops my impression of the town. You don't want to be walking your children to dinner and seeing that right on the main street.
