The hotel was easy to find--centrally located on the main road. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The air conditioning actually worked, I was so thrilled (the other hotels on our trip had advertised air conditioning that didn't really work after all)!! The AC was fully adjustable in our room, so I sat there on the bed like a penguin that sits under the snow machine in the exhibit at the zoo; it was heaven. The breakfast was SO GOOD. Americans, this place had the crispiest bacon I have ever seen on the European continent. On our way to and from our room, we passed through a game room with foosball and pool tables, so naturally I challenged my husband to a game of pool (I won). There was on-site parking, and the connecting restaurant was also fantastic--we had dinner there. Our room also had a balcony which was nice. When we mentioned to the front desk upon checkout that we were going to the lake on our way out of town, they gave us a coupon so we wouldn't have to pay to go to the public beach.

The location. The lower building overlooking the pool has view of the lake. Unobtrusive traffic noise from the road below. Breakfast was excellent with good choices. Dinner on half board was inclusive of drinks, including wine and beer. Buffet courses to start with a choice of main course served to the table. Room was large and beds comfortable. Access to the lake about 15mins walk down to the boat station. Bit of a hill coming back.

Very friendly staff. Let us check in 4 hours early. Big rooms with balcony. Fast wifi. Old hotel in the countryside, full of character. 5 minutes to Feldkirchen and the lake by car.

They used it for their living, so you can expect proper well equiped house. warm, with kitchen where you will not miss anything. and to watch HarryPotter with kids in their Harry Potter room, is unforgetable experience. I think Mattrace were quit good, just pillow were not my cup of tea. Rita and Peter are very kind.

Location was perfect, right next to the cabelcar, walking distance. Our apartment was really clean, and staff was great too! With your stay you get a free S bahn ticket so you can make a short train trip to Villach, train station is also few minutes walking distance. They also have a small area right next to the lake, with sauna. Really nice place for short vacation!
