From exquisite antique linens to highest quality down duvets, to the provision of hiking rucksacks to borrow, the thought and care by Annelies and her parents was heartwarming. The farmhouse is full of charm and interesting artefacts at every turn, the pine panelled bedrooms so cosy and inviting. Breakfast was off the scale - in addition to fresh fruits, nuts, cereals and yoghurts, there was a vast selection of homemade breads and jams, with cheeses, hams, local eggs and other savoury delights. We were even given bags and encouraged to make a packed lunch for ourselves! We left feeling restored and grateful for such kindness and friendship. It is a beautiful area with many nice walks to do. We were there when it was snowing and the frozen ice and snow was beautiful. The ski field is very close by, however the slopes are very challenging and only suitable for those who have grown up on skis.Guest review byReginaNew Zealand - 8.0
I would recommend the high wire for an adventure.
I would recommend the high wire for an adventure. The view of Reutte from above is amazing. And the history of the castle ruins gives an incite to life in the area long ago. There are also very beautiful lakes for walks and the alps for hiking and skiing.Guest review byDiannaAustralia
