The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was big, bright and the beds and linen were comfy. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the restaurant during our stay because it happened to be closed for the two days that we were there. I had eaten there the year before with my Aunt and Uncle who live in Schwanberg and can say that the meals are very tasty and the size is generous. The morning breakfast offerings were very good with something for everyone.

A swimming pool in the spacious garden, so you can relax by the pool or find a quiet spot in the garden area. The property has had a major refurbishment over the last few years, and the dining/bar area is especially impressive. It has exceptional accommodation, excellent food, and delightful and friendly owners and staff.

    I adored the garden with the beautiful view. The restaurant served delicious food. The host and the staff were very kind and helpful. What I only missed were window nets in the room, as in summer there a lot of insects that are happy to have us as a main course 😀

    Gunter and Johanna are excellent hosts and we were well...

    Gunter and Johanna are excellent hosts and we were well received and always felt welcome. We came to the Red bull Ring for the F1 event and although a bit far from the track, the facilities around Deutschlandsberg and our stay in Wildbachberg 176 was excellent.

    Very nice place to stay close to Graz.

    Very nice place to stay close to Graz. Only negative aspect was one impolite staff member. My question in English regarding hot water for oatmeal was met with scorn and I was directed to the container which stated 'tee'. She then mocked my query to her colleague. I don't speak German well but I understand it perfectly. Her comments were just rude. Perhaps label the container Hot Water? Pity this spoiled what was otherwise a pleasant overnight stay. I still gave 9/10.
