Batemans Bay has no Visitor Information Centre.
Batemans Bay has no Visitor Information Centre. The shoreline is amazing and the sunrises are glorious. Everything is in easy reach and easily reachable within walking distance. I find the 3pm close down a small issue. Its a great place to fish and swim and very close to Sydney and Eden. The Ocean Grill Fish and Chip shop on the waterfront was great the fish fresh and beautifully cooked, the chips very moreish. Lots of inexpensive and more expensive places to eat. There are some nice places to see and if you like a bit of a drive, Tilba Tilba for example. Have lunch at the "Drom" and check out the cheese shop. Moruya and Broulee are beautiful. Quiet and all shops one needs. Close to major area (Batemans Bay) but far enough to feel relaxed. Bike riding, fishing and boating great for families. As was only there for a family funeral it was only an overnight stay didn’t really get the feel of what a longer stay would have been like but I would stay there again. It is a beautiful small beachside place but not sure of what amenities are available for eg. a weeks stay. It really is Lilli Pilli Beach area. Ideal central location to a number of super Beaches - if you wanted to be closer to Batemans Bay you need transport here. The location of this property is sensational, and whilst the property is getting older it could do with some "TLC" and it would be AAA1!
