- From US$223.31 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 321 reviewsThe cottages are so beautiful! It’s like a fairyland with pretty flowers of different species just outside your different coloured scheme house in the garden. Entering the house was a feast for the eyes with great attention given to every interior decor and details. A bonus to have a TV in every room and hall. Netflix service is provided where you can key in your own account access. There are plenty glassware and pretty plates for your use. Beds are very comfortable with plenty of space created within a mini cottage but fully furnished and equipped. We were pleasantly impressed with a bottle of wine given and a bag of honeycomb chocolates as a complimentary delight. Everything in this stay is wonderful with close walking proximity the the beach. It’s only a 10 mins drive to Port Elliot and Victor Harbor where all the dining restaurants are. We love this place and will highly recommend to our friends!Guest review byMarySingapore

Port Augusta in SA is like Alice Springs where I live in NT, both great places that people like to bash. Port Augusta has long been a crossroads to the north and south of South Australia and has long been a growing hub that has come along in leaps and bounds whilst still dealing with nay sayers. I would recommend Port Augusta as at least an overnight stop but also as a springboard for places like Whyalla, Roxby Downs and Adelaide. I try to stay in different places each time I visit and have experienced a lot of levels in accommodation, each with their own benefits.Guest review byKARYNAustralia - 10
I absolutely love Port Lincoln.
I absolutely love Port Lincoln. A beautiful seaside town, friendly folk, well serviced, magnificent seafood, great venues , peaceful and the climate is perfect Dining at the Marina hotel, and Yacht club was excellent, service fantastic and super friendly.Guest review byHeatherAustralia - 8.0
Awesome place to explore.
Awesome place to explore. The old timers mine was very interesting. The Big Rig 360 was great for a meal and sunset drink. The underground motel is a must do experience. If it's not in your budget they will let you have a look around the building and have a cuppa, if the cafe is open.Guest review byTaniaAustralia - 8.0

Its a lovely town with lots to do in and surrounding areas. We loved walking and there were many places to walk and enjoy the history of the area. We arrived a few days after the school holidays had finished and it seemed a little quite... locals catching their breath. But we came for a rest too and did enjoy it all. It was also nice being able to have our dog with us and walked her everywhere.Guest review bySueAustralia - 10

Unfortunately, the Town is obviously struggling with the Steel Plant issues and the Trades and others I spoke with on this trip were very negative about the current and future prospects of Whyalla. The Town in my opinion needs a Birthday. Looking very sad unfortunately. I wasn't working at the Steel Works on this visit, wasn't remotely connected to Industry in Whyalla or surrounding areas. it was in the Whyalla CBD. I visit Whyalla at least once per year.Guest review byDarenAustralia - 10
The local bars and restaurants were great.
The local bars and restaurants were great. They were busy for school holidays but staff were always willing to help out and get you a spot. Bar Musque in Tanunda was a highlight! Amazing food and gin - staff were exceptional and super helpful. The little shops and the main drag is a great spot to have wine or coffee with the nicest produce around. We loved it.Guest review byBrigitaAustralia - 8.0
