The property was well located in the area and easy to find. It also offered free parking for our overnight stay. The rooms were a decent size, modern and comfortable. The beds were also comfortable to sleep on, even more so once we requested another pillow so that both guests had two each. The included breakfast was also good quality and ample different things to choose from.

Hotel was brand new in a cosy style. The closeness to the nature was wonderful with a trail inn to the jungle just behind the hotel. Swimmingpool and outdoor are was nice and relaxant. Breakfast was very varied with god option for people with gluten or lactose problems. Big free car parking was also a plus for us.

    Kind of stopped by on accident and then I didn't want to...

    Kind of stopped by on accident and then I didn't want to leave! In Central, went salsa dancing on the pier on Sunday night, spent time at the mall, and ate at Merci. Stayed a few days in Barra Da Lagoa, hiking and exploring the trails at a tree house hostel with gorgeous views. Then stayed in Morro Das Pedras south of Campeche, which was absolutely divine. Laid out on soft sandy beaches and on grass at a peaceful lagoon. Danced forró at Tio Gatheras bar to a live band. Its the kind of place you never want to leave.

    It was a great stay, be aware that this is long distance (Brazilian standard) from the beach where is all the fun, but it takes you around 10-20min uber drive to get there (depends on traffic). Friendly staff. You get what you pay for.

    City is known more from theme park (Beto Carrero) than any...

    City is known more from theme park (Beto Carrero) than any other thing, but still has plenty of options if you're travelling by car. Public transport is almost inexistent (a trully nightmare), so avoid going by bus or prepare yourself to waste hours trying to move around. There are many beaches on the surroundings (unfortunately, we can't enjoy most of them due to weather conditions), and city is near to many other touristic attractions (like the cities of Balneario Camboriú [30min south, by car], Joinville [about 1 hour north] and Navegantes [where you can find paragliding practice at Morro do Careca]). In Armação do Itapocorói, we can find supermarkets and some restaurants open at least until 22h. Route to and from the city is very straight forward, you can travel on BR-101 (the highway) or by ferry boat (recommended if highway has heavy traffic, but not in normal conditions [it works 24h]). We had dinner at a very good pizza carvery called "Top Haus" (in Navegantes) and a Peruvian restaurant called Salsa Brava (in Itajaí) - we highly recommend both of them!

    Joinville is well worth a visit.

    Joinville is well worth a visit. A city of Germanic culture and arquitecture, good coffee/teashops, good food, good local beer (OPA) friendly people, it has plenty to offer the visitor. One can do a walking city tour of some of the city main historic and modern attractions. Close (1 hour or less by car) to some of Santa Catarina’s coastal beaches and towns, Joinville is arguably the capital of best health care in the South of Brazil and, in some particular cases, best in the country The city is a proud home of Sadalla Amin Ghanem Eye Hospital, long established as the top Eye Hospital in South America with international reputation recognised as world reference in eye care. This hospital has impressive top class facilities and equipment and an equally impressive medical body of specialists in every eye condition. People travel across the world to come here for eye treatment and surgery. It is indeed the very top in the field. Service there is very efficient and impressive. Highly recommend nationally and internationally.

    Excellent holiday resort.

    Excellent holiday resort. Lots of beaches, restaurants, bars bit also the possibility to do some hiking for instance. Very friendly population. Great place to go with a family. Groups of young people looking to party around maybe should look for another place as Bombinhas might not answer to their requirements but for families it is perfect.

    We arrived by bla bla car and on the first day struggled to get transport to the sites of interest. We did however find a local taxi Father and Son who were amazing and knowledgable about the local area

    Would like to spend winters here.

    Would like to spend winters here. Location was actually nice, we drive the entire island and being down south so much better. Closer to beaches, and the town, and airport. and traffic was rather Hectic

    Balneário Camboriú it's a wonderful place .

    Balneário Camboriú it's a wonderful place . A great beach , very nice the brasilian people, they will help you kindly, and friendly. The beach is very large about 5 miles . There is a free bus that goes throughout the beach. The buildings are impressively high. I hope to get back next summer.

    Bombihas was great but we didn't go during busy season.

    Bombihas was great but we didn't go during busy season. Maybe a week or 2 before the prime tourism time. We were suprised how quiet it was. Normally bombihas traffic is insane. Super expensive. 12-15R for a coffee. Most restaurants will add a 10% service fee and an entertaining fee if live music is playing. Casa lagosta and Berro d'Aqua are recommended. Especially the latter has amazing food.
