United StatesPerfect stay on the cabot trail... only 15 minutes to the skyline trail... lovely little town . celebrated my birthday at a nice restaurant L'Abri cute shops . the room had everything..comfortable bed, soft sheets, refrig, great towels .. very nicely decorted. the host Barry and Michelle are Wonderful people...so nice and helpful!! thank you for everything..

The cabin is cozy, only 10 steps from the huge shared kitchen with everything you need, private bathroom and your own fridge The (Dutch) owner is friendly and very helpful. I only stayed there for 2 nights unfortunately, wish I could have stayed longer.
Hope to go there again.

UkraineWe had an absolutely wonderful stay in this beautiful trailer. It is brand new, with everything you could possibly need already inside ( coffee, tea, dishes, kettle). There was a large, comfortable bed, and the view of the sea—especially at sunset—was simply breathtaking. The area is incredibly quiet and peaceful, offering a perfect escape from the city.
I especially loved the patio with flowers and small lights, with a gas grill. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, even the mosquito spray was available .That was an easy check in and check out, we shouldn't have even seen the host personally
That night was a little chilly and we turned on the fireplace in the trailer in the evening. However, there's also ventilation in case it's hot outside.
And if you take a short walk or drive up the road, you'll find a perfect spot to take stunning photos of the coastline during sunset—it was one of the highlights of our stay.
That was an interesting experience, We've never lived in the trailer before.
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy, scenic, and well-equipped retreat on Cape Breton.

We greatly enjoyed Baddeck's Lobster Suppers. The food was incredibly delicious, and the service given by Carley was excellent. All staff generated a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We ate dinner at Le Gabriel Restaurant. There was entertainment Sunday evening at the restaurant. A woman played the fiddle and a man accompanied her on a keyboard. They were excellent. Seafood prices are very high. The place was very busy and the food was good. Getting around Cheticamp is easy. We enjoyed driving along the entire Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island. We LOVED our accommodations, the quiet and the beach! Most restaurant food was very good. Loved whale watching and the gondola. Would have like a continental breakfast as there were no restaurants within walking distance. Lovely place. Scenery great. Food at Main Street Restaurant was very good, deserts were extremely good but expensive. Cape Smokey Gondola was very interesting with great view from the top. A bit pricey for what you get but options in the area for what we needed were limited. Restaurant onsite with good menu and great service was very convenient for us, especially after some long days travelling and hiking. Loved parking right at our door as it allowed for easy unloading and loading. Our room was towards the back away from the main road which was quieter than other places we stayed. Disappointed that I didn’t check the details of the listing before I booked to see if it had a microwave and fridge, which it did not. TV was miniature but we didn’t use anyway. Internet was spotty when both of us were trying to use it. Shower was wonky and whole room could have been upgraded with a few things while still keeping the charm. bed was not to my liking —- a bit hard—-ended up not sleeping much. Good spot for sunsets. Very small town off the Cabot Trail. Therefore very few restaurants. They also close early in the shoulder season so good to keep in mind. It is gorgeous but even more remote than I realized. Options for food and bathrooms are few and far between and have limited operating hours. Plan accordingly and it will be perfect!
