I appreciate the simplicity and the view from the breakfast room, which gives our family a warm, homely feeling. We all love the Nordic style, and the host went out of his way to respond to my requests and questions promptly. I am truly grateful and very happy with our stay!
The location of the zzzzzMoose is excellent. I was also extremely pleased to have such a nice, neat, and clean place to spend the nights in an all-wood cabin. The window on the second floor offers a perfect view of the sea, making it an ideal spot for a family stay.
We spent two nights in the cabin, and I honestly wish we could have stayed longer.

We LOVED our accommodations, the quiet and the beach! Most restaurant food was very good. Loved whale watching and the gondola. Would have like a continental breakfast as there were no restaurants within walking distance. Also, restaurants close too early and many ran out of food so decided to close! 150 people at the pizza place (because no place else was open with availability) on a Sunday wasn’t fun.Guest review byMaryCanada - 8.0

Lovely place. Scenery great. Food at Main Street Restaurant was very good, deserts were extremely good but expensive. Cape Smokey Gondola was very interesting with great view from the top. It is gorgeous but even more remote than I realized. Options for food and bathrooms are few and far between and have limited operating hours. Plan accordingly and it will be perfect! I enjoyed the trails in Ingonish including Middle Head trail...
I enjoyed the trails in Ingonish including Middle Head trail with magnificent views and Freshwater Lake Trail which passed through the woods around the lake, by the beach and pickleball courts. Great hiking.
