"Fantastic Stay – Brand New Room!" The room was amazing—completely renovated and had only opened two days before my stay. Everything felt fresh and spotless. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, making me feel welcome from the start. Great value for the experience! I would definitely stay again. Bonus: you get 10% off at Jake's Pub next door, which was a nice added perk.

By far, this was our best stay during our Canada round trip! Christina is super nice :-) The beds are very comfy. The area is very quiet and the air is fresh.. The breakfast was amazing. We thought we wouldn't need one, but as we slept so long, we asked for one in the morning. Delicious! All of the different artwork is great! When you are there, take something home. It is nothing touristic that you get in every souvenir shop, it's something special ;-) All in all, 12 out of 10!

Such peaceful and beautiful place. We enjoyed every minute here 😊 Don and Lyn are very welcoming and made sure, their guest have every thing they need. The suits are comfortable and well appointed and spotlessly clean. Most of all , we enjoyed the very beautiful view from our terrasse. We used the kayaks for a little tour along the shore. They are in a very good condition. Another big bonus is the closeness to Steward’s Floatplanes, where we booked a tour to Hamlet Falls and the Rainbow mountains. An unforgettable adventure!

Excellent location, close to everything. Although it is placed at the Cariboo Highway you don't hear any traffic noise in the room. Squeaky clean rooms with middle class appeal and all amenities you could ask for. Very comfortable beds. Lovely and extremely helpful owner couple. Best independently owned roadside Motel I have had the pleasure of staying in since years!

Museum of Cariboo-Chilcotin is worth a visit for cowboy history fans, as is a slow walk around Scout Island Nature Centre. Make sure to stop at Nature House and talk with youth interpreter. Walk with Mural Art map and explore downtown

This resort used to be beautiful and amazing!

This resort used to be beautiful and amazing! The dining room, pool, lobby and the rooms. You now drive into what used to be a park lot, that is filled with parted out vehicles😳 The Lobby is dimly lit because all the lights are off, it smells and feels dingy and dirty! The first building is filled with monthly rentals and their balcony’s are filled with rubbish, blankets hanging off the balcony’s and the wood on both balcony’s and stairs have rotting plywood making it feel super sketchy. Lots of drug users on the property and it is a fairly secluded place making you feel isolated amongst them. Sad state of affairs to have let a property that was once a really hub for swimming, tubing, sleigh rides, cross country skiing, horse riding, yoga, spa treatments, dining and banquets and weddings:/ Room was decently clean and the price was good if you are ok in an environment but wouldn’t recommend taking kiddos there!

The Caribou Lodge is situated on ten acres with a beautiful view of the lake. The lake is stunningly beautiful with many recreational opportunities such as swimming, boating, fishing, hiking or just leisurely strolling. All the people we met were very friendly. This is a gorgeous area and an enjoyable place to holiday.

The toilet did not flush when we arrived in room and the desk clerk handed us a plunger and said "let us know if it works) They did give us a discount when we checked out which was good. The room is not fully accessable. Tub and a shower seat (but not one that is easily used by wheelchair users) The room was clean but had been sprayed heavily with fragrance deoderisers which can be detrimental to people who are sensitive to fragrance. This facility is an older one but has gone downhill over the past few years.

We go every year to visit friends. We don't hunt or fish. This time we also went to Centennial Park, which is very lovely. We went on a leisurely walk to see the falls. They were spectacular. We continued on a little hike which was nice. The grounds of the park would be a great place for a picnic.

I liked the quiet room with comfy European style king sized bed. The unit is well back from the road with nice views and a deck. I would have liked a choice of sausage or bacon and how my eggs are cooked. My wife does not like sunny side up.

There are some really cool little restaurants in Willy's puddle such as Dog 'n suds(classic dine), or the burger shack (a literal shack but SO GOOD) and red tomato pies (pizza place). I was disturbed about how aggressive and misinformed the town people are. Many businesses were supporting the convoy in Ontario and ignoring health mandates which weren't the biggest complaints so much as when I wore a mask I was met with hostility multiple times in public. You cannot walk everywhere in the city. Some stretches of road have no sidewalks. I will not be visiting again any time soon...

    Typical old highway town.

Typical old highway town. Most things need repair and maintenance. Nothing remarkable at all. Has a good variety of places to eat. People are friendly. A fair amount of shopping for most of your needs. For the outdoor enthusiasts it is great. More lakes than you can count! Great trout fishing in all of the lakes. Hiking skiing boating camping wildlife right in your back yard. A nature lovers paradise!
