- From $258.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 197 reviewsWe loved so many things about our stay at Touchstone! First and foremost, the location on Lake Muskoka is fantastic, and the views—especially down by the water—are truly beautiful. We had a studio and felt that the accommodations were modern/updated while still managing to foster a cozy, rustic vibe. We especially loved the fireplace, the comfortable bed, and the sleek tiled wall in the bathroom. We were delighted that our studio was really more of a one bedroom, with the bed in a separate room from the living area. And there was even a washer and dryer in the unit! Everything was sparkling clean for us when we arrived. Thank you to all at Touchstone who helped make our stay so wonderful. It was the perfect couple getaway/babymoon!Guest review byRachelUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 231 reviewsThe cottages are adorable. I was in a one bedroom. It has a fully functioning kitchen (bring all your groceries including butter, oil. And coffee grounds/pods. And a flat pan. Surprisingly no pan in the kitchen). It had really good heating. No AC but we didn't need it. No bugs inside. The veiw from the windows was a slice of heaven. BRILLIANT for kids. Two playgrounds, a library with toys, a lake opposite. Next to Algonquin so loads of fun trekking. We went when it was cold but they have paddle boats, and canoes and life vests. Honestly I am blown away by how entertained my 2 year old was in this resort.Guest review bymariaIndia

A day trip to Niagara Falls was a highlight.
A day trip to Niagara Falls was a highlight. In the city, don't miss The Shoe Museum....as strange as it may sound. It was exceptional as well as Casa Loma. The story behind it, the "castle", the furnishings, were outstanding.Guest review byPeggieUnited States - 10
The white water walk and tunnel experiences are amazing.
The white water walk and tunnel experiences are amazing. We did them both after the boat tour and those were the highlight for us. Being that close to nature's beauty and power is fascinating. We also lucked out with the weather.Guest review byD - 10
Ottawa is the Capital of Canada.
Ottawa is the Capital of Canada. Very vibrant and yet not very large. It is naturally the centre of federal politics, but also a centre of bilingual Canada and of culture with several prominent museums and art galleries.Guest review bySeiichiCanada - 8.0

The town is so cute and there are lots of great shops and restaurants. The water is pretty and you must drive to the top of Lions Lookout to view the surrounding area. Try to go to Kawartha Dairy on HWY 60 for an ice cream cone We loved our breakfast at WIMPY'sGuest review byDuke - 10
The city looked so much cleaner than American cities.
The city looked so much cleaner than American cities. The traffic was controlled, the air was fresh, and the streets and sidewalks were clean and lighted. The urban blight so common in American cities was not visible, and the police presence was subtle but obvious.Guest review byDunkin - 8.0

The town is charming with lots of beautiful greenery and flowers. It's very well taken care of with lots of charming touristy stores if you like that kind of thing. Nice places to eat and get coffee and just lovely to strill around.Guest review byMargaretUnited States - 8.0
Friend and I visited Sault in mid August.
Friend and I visited Sault in mid August. Just to get away for couple days for some nature and shopping. We stayed at Glenview Cottages on Trans Canada Highway, 10 minutes north of the city. We shopped for groceries at Wal Mart, Staples for some ball point pens. A friend stopped by at an outdoor adventure store for a tent cover. I'm sorry, for not remembering the name of the store. Besides cooking our own meals, I've had a craving for soft tacos at Taco Bell; Macdonald's for a muffin and a coffee. All the shopping and eating we've done on Great Northern Road. Our purpose was to discover local hiking trails. So, don't forget to hike decently maintained trails at Glenview Cottages and Camping.Guest review byGoranCanada - 6.0

Windsor wasn't exactly a cultural experience, although it did seem to have a diverse population, which was nice to see. We didn't find any hip shopping districts or cool "strips." The view of the river and the Detroit skyline was very cool, and many people were utilizing the riverwalk in the evening after dark. There were plenty of identifiable security personnel who made even the less-lit areas of the park feel relatively safe.Guest review byTank
