- From US$122.43 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 416 reviewsWe stayed in Unit 11 and the view was stunning! Overlooking the water, we watched humpback whales and a beautiful sunset from the front seating area! Others have mentioned the steep drive up - it is steep but we had a level parking space at the top and actually although at first glance they looked daunting, parking in front of the other units looked OK. Most people reversed in without any trouble. The unit seems recently refurbished, with new flooring, comfy beds. The bathroom shower-over-bath unit was maybe a little older but clean and the shower was great with lots of hot water. Kitchenette was really well-equipped with microwave plus loads of other appliances - including an air fryer - in the cupboard below. WiFi was great, the unit had its own modem and my teenage son approved of the speed. We booked this last-minute from not much choice but we would choose to stay here again.Guest review bySarahUnited Kingdom

As we were on a motorcycle trip with a specific agenda it didn't allow for extra time to be spent exploring Powell River but definitely a return visit is in the future plans. It's a lovely town and our accommodation was fabulous!!Guest review byGoddess RocksUnited States - 10.0

It was a magical place from the sandcastle to the beaches to the many trails and places to go. The wildlife deers that come right up to you. Hummingbirds zooming by. It was a incredible relaxing vacation. Highly recommendGuest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Powell River is a "jumping off point" for outdoor enthusiasts and has loads of natural beauty. The town itself is nothing special, but the local people have a welcoming, casual and unpretentious vibe that is really charming. The Old Courthouse Inn and its Edie Rae Cafe are a slice of the Victorian past. Magpie's has delicious breakfasts with a Ukrainian flare.Guest review bySparks - 8.0

Powell River is a pleasant surprise once you get there by ferry. It has charm and a heritage feel to the lovely old neighbourhoods. There is history worth noting. The people were very friendly, it was easy to find dining. I wouldn't have guessed 'Snickers' to be a Greek restaurant but we gave it a try. The portions were huge! And the ferry ride over to Vancouver Island was right in the middle of town and easy to access.Guest review byDelCanada
