It is just breath taking, the scenary, Saguenay and Lac Saint Jean area is marvelous. Hiking, biking, walks, sight seeing, it has it all. I loved it, and the road towards Saint Feliciene was amazing, the lakes are beautifull.Guest review byRicardo Andrés SalasColombia - 10.0
If you're planning a stay in the Lac St.
If you're planning a stay in the Lac St. Jean region, Roberval is an excellent place to call home. Pharmacy, grocery stores, a shopping center, and restaurants close at hand. Roberval is also central to major tourist attractions such as Val Jalbert and the Zoo Sauvage de Saint-Felicien. There are also excellent microbreweries (La Chouape & Microbrasserie du Lac St-Jean),cheese producers (Medard & Perron) nearby, and even American style barbecue (Le Draveur Cookerie & Bar) in Roberval itself.Guest review byJohnCanada - 8.0
Interesting town, felt very much like a frontier settlement.
Interesting town, felt very much like a frontier settlement. Tourist information bureau was very helpful. Lac st Jean is big! Excellent chocolate shop on south side of the lake on the road to Roberval. Stayed in Alma before heading down through Saguenay, stunning scenery, especially at Petit Saguenay quay.Guest review byGerrardUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Quaint village. Pretty houses.
Quaint village. Pretty houses. A supermarket, coffee shop, restaurants and public dock. Lots of places to stay from camping to bed and breakfasts and cottages. Ideally situated for taking a boat whale watching or kayaking the fjord. Hilly terrain if you are biking. Must have a car to travel.Guest review byhilaryCanada - 8.0

We stayed at Chambord when we cycled the veloroute au bluettes. The accommodation was good but access to food was 3km away. Luckily we had a car with us and could go get the makings for a spaghetti dinner.Guest review byBrouseCanada - 10.0
The motel was behind a gas station/restaurant.
The motel was behind a gas station/restaurant. The gas station had a comprehensive store within, the restaurant was ok. The room itself was very nice, modern decor & clean enough. mine was in back, not facing the fairly busy road, so it was quiet with somewhat of a view of the fields behind.Guest review byJones - 6.0

Do not expect this small village to be a tourist attraction, despite the fact it is close to several other interesting small locations. It is an interesting "hub", where you can get better value for money for your stay, close to other attractions. But despite that, we do not expect much from the city itself.Guest review byLuizCanada - 10.0

Saguenay is a beautiful sector, North of Quebec, which seems like the diamond in the rough. No one would think about going to Sagueneay, however, they have great outdoors, both winter and summer. Definitely, a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the great outdoors.Guest review byLouisCanada - 10.0

Bought a pickup truck at one the the Ram dealership, sight unseen. I got such a good feeling from the people I spoke with that I was able to make this purchase without worry. Seems to be an indication that Alma is a great place and so much better than big city business. I would travel the 6 hours again.Guest review byProchnau - 10.0
