Very nice town on Lake Huron, great shops and all the services you need. We stayed there because we went to visit some apple orchards to sample their cider products, we hiked in the Blue Mountains and we also really enjoyed Wasaga Beach without the crowds during this amazingly warm off-season (September 2025). The hotel was just a little outside town, the area rather industrial, but it suited us well since parking was free and it was easy to travel to the places we went to visit.Guest review bySusanne ReussCanada - 8.0

Pretty, small, classic Ontario city with lots to see and do. Great cafes, restaurants, independent shops and cultural landmarks (don't miss Manticore Books, Mariposa Market, Gordon Lightfoot trail and the Leacock House). We started visiting Midland when our next door neighbours moved to Penetang after retirement. They took us around and we discovered an enjoyable corner of Ontario. Love the marina. Great sunsets over the lake. Nice options for dinner. We specially loved Ariston, the Greek Restaurant in Balm Beach. Lakeview is a great place to stay in Wasaga Beach.
Lakeview is a great place to stay in Wasaga Beach. It's right on the beach -- at least a short walk around the construction happening there that will eventually construct a new visitors' walkway that would be great for visitors. There is no beach, anywhere, that compares to the sand that feels so soft walking on it. In summer months the water is actually warm, not cold as would probably be expected. In busy months you'll find the beach swamped by tourists. Staying at Lakeview offers a comfortable place to reside. Rooms have a fridge and microwave, air conditioner and is so close to enjoy the beach and, avoiding the $20 a day that beach visitors pay for parking. We love Bradford.
We love Bradford. It’s a nice town, friendly people, the main strip, you can find one of a kind stores, local artists and businesses,and it’s a clean town. All your needs are met in Bradford and just outside of it, you have your pick of the big box stores, if that’s your thing.
