We had a great stay at Hotel B&B Stossplatz! The breakfast, the staff (Katrin and her mother), the service, convenient with a parking space right outside, the proximity to the Appenzell city center, restaurants, train station and more - was really great! We could not have wished for better accommodation during our hike weekend in Appenzellerland! Highly recommended and we will of course return!

Friendly staff that was very helpful. We had a last minute change of plans and the staff was very accommodating. The food in the restaurant is amazing. We speak English only and everyone was incredibly friendly. Located within walking distance to many great activities and shops. The room was very comfortable and clean.

The Hotel Hecht is situated in the centre of Appenzell, on the edge of the pedestrianized area, and offers you nicely renovated rooms and free Wi-Fi internet access throughout the hotel.

Amazing place to stay. Allowed me to check in early which meant I could go hiking on my first day with ease! Helped with the Appenzell Travel Card. Such helpful staff, great recommendations for dinner in their sister hotel for traditional food. Excellent breakfast with really good gluten free options.

Our cosy hotel is located in the car-free zone in the centre of Appenzell in eastern Switzerland.

Friendliness of staff is excellent. The hotel is beautifully situated in a rural area. They are renovating, but they reckon with the guests. Food is good. Ample parking space. Personal touch.
