Location is outstanding. Amazing views of the enchanting lake Brienz and the Giessbach Falls and surroundings. Sleep experience is excellent. The Hotel architecture and interior decoration is of such fine artistic taste and luxury, it is a gem. Quite classical and historic as if one is living the high life in the 19th century. Cuisine too was of a high standard with great variety and quality. Excellent restaurant staff attitude and courtesy.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Lindenhof hotel in Brienz and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is located in a beautiful setting, with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Brienz. The welcome at reception was warm and friendly, and I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel. My room was spacious and comfortable, with modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi access. I particularly enjoyed the private balcony which offered stunning views of the lake and mountains. The bed was comfortable and I was able to sleep peacefully throughout my stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a choice of hot and cold dishes, as well as fresh fruit and bread. The staff was helpful and attentive, ensuring that everything was to my liking. The hotel's location is also excellent, with easy access to local attractions such as Lake Brienz, hiking trails and ski slopes. Parking is easy and convenient, which is a real plus in this area. Overall, I had a great stay at the Lindenhof hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable and well-located accommodation in Brienz. The staff is friendly and professional, the rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, and the location is perfect for exploring the area. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again on my next trip to Brienz.

Beautiful location in the lakeside. Very characterful architecture in Swiss chalet style. Very helpful and welcoming staff throughout and even the owners had time to talk despite their busy days. Very well arranged outside restaurant terrace to eat with the staff adjusting the sunshade umbrellas to keep the sun off our faces during dinner. Excellent quality dinner of fresh local fish cooked by the Owner chef....delicious!!. Very comfortable and spacious bedroom with huge balcony overlooking the lake. Clean and very well equipped bedroom and ensuite. Good spacious carpark.

Location is superb being the first stop on the Gondola from Grindelwald to First . Room was spacious for a family of 4, very clean, big bathroom, cozy with amazing views of the mountains. Breakfast was nice with all the essentials -fruit, yoghurt, freshly baked Swiss bread and croissants, Swiss cheese and a variety of teas and warm drinks.Fresh eggs are also available and made the way you like. We required halal, and the staff were really good in ensuring that our food was made separately from any non halal products. Chilli, the Chef and restaurant staff were fantastic , from before you arrive they get in contact and check up on you .Really pleasant and professional . Recommend staying here as you have access to Grindelwald and First..do some research based on your number of days to see if it’s worth getting the Jungfrau pass - in that way you’ll have transport access and passes for the entire region .

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Brienz! The atmosphere was peaceful, the views were stunning, and everything about the hotel felt warm and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast was perfect — fresh, delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. I truly wish I could have stayed longer than just one night.
