Our stay was simply marvellous! Morcote is truly beautiful and the Relais is an exquisite little hotel. The design and interior is really well done and it’s even more beautiful than in the pictures. My partner and I had a fantastic stay at Parco San Marco. The resort is beautifully located between the lake and the mountains, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a lovely view of Lake Lugano. We enjoyed a relaxing spa treatment and a paddle on the lake, both of which were highlights of our trip. The food at the resort’s restaurants was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive.     Amazing experience! After a long day of hiking we arrived in the cute village of Miglieglia and got immediately enchanted by the Casa San Stefano and it's very welcoming invite. Old, historical building. We were warmly welcomed by the owners and received an upgrade of the room we had booked. Authentic, well-decorated interior. After a very peaceful night, we enjoyed the amazing breakfast with fresh, healthy ingredients and plenty of choice. Would i recommend the place? Definitely!

    A lovely town filled with shops and restaurants on the edge of a stunning lake. A great place to take a boat ride to nearby towns, go for walks or enjoy the lake with nice restaurants and shops. There are two gondolas nearby and it's a short train ride to the castles of Bellinzona or the activities near Monte Tamaro. A boat ride to Gandria is also lovely, as is the walk back to Lugano.

    Wonderful village on the lake with lots of culture and history. The promenade is wonderful day and night. The walk along the river and the playground were highlights for my family. We loved the old town and the beautiful churches. We will be coming back!

    You must take a swim in the lake.

    You must take a swim in the lake. Near the parking garage is a swimming platform. The lake is perfect. Don't test the water first, Don't dip a toe. Take a few steps back, run, jump high, Dive in a resurface a human reborn. Months latter I still think about that dive in the water in the most beautiful lake I have ever seen. The town is expensive. But If your traveling through. Stop my kid love car spotting from the cafes.

    Not a massive amount to do in Melide itself, but there a few nice little restaurants and a Miniature Model Village for the kiddies. A short bus ride/ train ride from Laguna and accommodation seemed much cheaper. We ate in the hotel restaurant, which was borderline fine dining, so food was amazing but a little expensive; presecco, a bottle of medium priced wine and two medium priced secondi meals cane to about €170 plus tip. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade, staying in a wonderful apartment with Hammam and kitchenette; always nice to get an upgrade, so many thanks again 😁

    Saturday market - make sure you get there latest 11-ish as they seem to pack up around 15:00-16:00 (winter time) Cafe Ofele a great place for coffee and cake and chilling on the cool swing chairs. Massage at Ashe Olistic di Mariela Walking along the riverside is so beautiful Just be aware of opening/closing time of restaurants Just browse and have fun

    The facility is completely unknown ... even the hotel across...

    The facility is completely unknown ... even the hotel across the street could barely help me figure out where to go and what to do in terms of check-in. I would suggest you give the directions to people well in advance and explain how the very impersonal check-in works. The message I received in my phone was unworkable without wi-fi and still very unclear with wi-fi. I wasted over 90 minutes from arrival by van in Bissone to arrival in our room ... driving around aimlessly, looking for a sign of the property, asking many people who knew nothing, etc. Once everything was clear and we wee settled, dinner took a long walk to get to, but that was worth it. I suggest having a fan avaible for ventilation, as the one window does not allow the flat to breathe.

    Correct the hotel location in booking to not show that it is 150 from the center while searching in Lugano area. The hotel location is at the top of the mountain, it tooks more the 25 minutes to reach the hotel up or to go down to the city… nothin around the hotel, no centro, no restaurant… the hotel is in the middle of nowhere

    Porto Ceresio is an excellent place, especially for walking...

    Porto Ceresio is an excellent place, especially for walking on lungolago along the lake, having a low-price and high-quality pizza overlooking the lake and enjoying the sunset. Ship and bus fares are included in the Swiss general ticket. Lack of sidewalks at times especially in the center, pay attention. Splendid Gigante shopping center has everything at low prices and good quality.

    Beautiful small village.

    Beautiful small village. Easy access to lake , Lugano and mountains. Some narrow roads and lots of speed cameras . Walking around the village is limited. Ate in the restaurant at Hotel Stella d’Italia ; excellent.

    The hotel was good.

    The hotel was good. Lugano had a lot of Somalian and others who were very aggressive with begging. One Somalian was essentially trying to commit strong armed robbery. Just be aware of your surroundings.
