Our host was amazing and he offered us the River view room without any charge. The lake view from room in the morning is amazing when the fog is lifting. The room is beautiful with old style logs re-used to beautify the hotel. The breakfast room is situated to get a clean view of the Rhein river which is beautiful. The hotel is within touching distance of the old town.

We loved everything! The food, the atmosphere, everything was perfect! The owner is so cute, the little old guy is very helpful, funny, he is like my grandpa! 😊 we were there 3-4 times, but always when we are there, we feel, we are in other centuries! Large, comfortable, clean room. Friendly staff, a good breakfast buffet with many homemade bread and jams, fresh eggs, good coffee. Good bicycle storage, excellent dedicated bike path between Stein am Rhein and Ramsen. Lovely, relaxing village.
