Linda made our family's trip PERFECT!​​ She truly went above and beyond – arranging seamless ​park transfers, sorting our ​tickets, and even making sure our ​morning coffee was perfect. No request was too big or small! 🙌 The hotel itself is incredible. The ​infinity pool is STUNNING​ (we couldn't get enough of those mountain views!), rooms were super comfy, and breakfast was delicious. ​If you come here, ask for Linda!​​ She arranged EVERYTHING beautifully and answered all our questions. The location is ideal for exploring the Zhangjiajie,as it’s close to both the park and the baofeng lake . English speaking staff Lily was really helpful in planning the best routes for visiting Zhangjiajie made our trip even more remarkable.. they also provided delicious breakfast. Beautiful place with amazing view, especially in the morning with a mist. The hotel was super cozy and comfortable. Clean and big. Antony is the best host I've met in China so far (and I've been here for 6 years) Popeye (the cute doggie) is the best marketing manager and entertainer you can find on bookings. 10 out of 10, definitely recommend!

I don't know where to start, but I know how I ended up feeling: like if I was hosted by family member, just after three days. The owners are incredidibly kind and very welcoming - even though they don't speak English they're always ready to "speak" using translating app. They helped me with the natural park tickets, they told me where locals go eating, they've been full of attentions - way above the expectations. On top of it, the place is perfectly located to get to the park first and the room was full of charme and beautifullu decorated. Tujia culture at its best! Thank you!

The hotel has an amazing location, in the middle of the mountains, located closely to the Middle Gate of the national park. Rooms are wonderful and so is the pool, which gives you the ultimate holiday vibes. The staff is incredibly friendly and immediately welcome you like a friend. The owner Yuelu is amazing so helpful in all that is needed for traveling in the park ! She also help when you are stuck as no one speak English in the park Her home stay is so close to the park that you can just walk to the entrance. The room is great she make that it will be heated before arrival and the breakfast is great!

    The property is managed by a family who did all they could to make us feel at home. Right from the arrival we were upgraded to a much better room with a smal fee. The whole rice terraces around the hotel belong to that family and the owner was kind enough to show us around as she accompanied us to the ZHangiaje Ticket office on a very rainy day. She was always available to give us all the information we needed to enjoy our stay in the park and never counted her time when it came to help us !!! The welcome from all the staff and the assistance is really what make this stay unforgettable. You will not regret booking here, it's more than just a hotel, it's a homestay where you feel like home. Like other people mentionned, the fact that it's located nearby (10 min walk) one of the less crowded ticket office is a BIG PLUS and helps us save time. The village where the hotel is located is quiet and charming, especially the side around the terraces. Food in the hotel is good (maybe a little bit spicy so please ask non spicy if you prefer it that way)....There were some other restaurant options in the village but we didn't try them. We were happy with Purespace food option. Th ebreakfast, although not fullly western, had at least a few things we could eat (yoghurt, fruits, eegs, bread, juice). I think booking here is one of the BEST OPTION when you visite Zhangiajie. Lastly you can count on the hotel if you need to rent a driver, and they are not too restrictive in regards to checkout time : again it feels more like home than a hotel. My 3 years old boy loved the place and he was very happy staying in this homestay. PLEASE book RIGHT NOW !!!

    Beautiful place to visit for adventurous trekkers and hikers. GEt close to nature and fresh mountain air. Views at special spots are fantastic. I stayed for a week as we need time to rest after the long hikes. Give allowance for thick mist in the highlands and rainy days where views are not clear and visibility is poor. Visit lowland areas (10 mile gallery and golden whip stream) when highlands are misty. Try to avoid the golden week though there are additional buses and staff to help out. During this period, entering through west gate is helpful as human traffic is lesser.

    A very unique place to be. A must visit place. We loved it even though we can’t read Chinese and speak a little only. We enjoyed our very short time there. Even in the rain it was great fun. Wear waterproof trainers when it’s rainy season as your feet will get wet and it can be slippery with the wrong footwear.

    City with very friendly people from the hotel, the Metro and the tourist places. We loved the Orange Island and the photos we took will always give us memories. The food was not any different from ours back home but it was more tasty. It was easy for us to get around using the metro and taxis.

    Great place to be!

    Great place to be! The cost of food and everything is noticeably cheaper compared to the major cities of china. High recommend it if you are a night owl, this city never sleeps and is great for grabbing a drink and late night meal. There are also alot of hidden gems up in the mountains.

    Stunning!

    Stunning! our 2nd favorite natural attraction in China, 2nd only to Huangshan Mountain. lots of great trails with exceptional views of a singular landscape. we stayed inside the park at YOLO hotel, which made access very easy. fortunately, transportation inside the park is shuttle bus only, they run frequently, and there's no congestion from private autos like you get at Yosemite. there's a big focus on "Avatar", but that is only one pillar of hundreds. Zhangjiajie is like Arizona's Grand Canyon except in a temperate rain forest, and on a more intimate scale, plus there are no incessant helicopters or mule feces.

    The view of the river is so majestic, both during the day and the night! For women, the traditional attire rental is something everyone should try. The booking for Hanfu and Mao clothing are not available online though, but its everywhere once you are in the town.

    Although large population, residents are provincial. Lacks the charm of other cities. Entry into downtown area nearly impossible. Traffic unbelievable. Only one entry into main area. Left earlier than anticipated because of the nature of the city. Couldn't be bothered to see more.
