The house is really amazing, it has 3 rooms. The one upstairs is gorgeous, big, with amazing sunlight and perfectly clean. In the nearby building there's the breakfast room, with western flavours (coffee,bread, eggs and bacon, fruits). The women there take care of everything and the location is surrounded in a silent, chill landscape. It's perfect for a relaxing weekend! Super recommended

This is a Family run guesthouse close to the Gubei resort. It’s close enough to be a real alternative if you can’t find something inside the resort or if you value the experience itself. The family who runs it, is super organised. The son speaks very good English and will communicate with you regarding pick ups / drop offs / tours. The parents do the operational side, they don’t speak English but go out of their way to accommodate you - organise local transport to and from the water town, the other part of the wall, breakfast / lunch / dinner whatever you need (delicious breakfast by the way). We asked for a pick up from Beijing and a drop off at PEK - Worked great. The village itself, where the guesthouse is located, looks interesting but as it was winter, early dark and super cold, there wasn’t much happening when we were there.

Situated in Miyun, just 50 metres away from the Great Wall, this friendly hostel features modern architecture, free Wi-Fi and free parking.

This property is a little gem. Just a 15 minutes walking distance from the Panlongshan section of the Great Wall, it gives you the chance to experience the sunset and sunrise on the Great Wall, and from there to reach the Jinshanling track from the West gate. But logistics is only one part of the story. The family who runs the inn is just unbelievable welcoming and helpful. They fetched me at Gubeikou station, came to pick me up after the hike, and even prepared a delicious breakfast and packed lunch for my hike. On the top of this, the quality of the room is exceptionally high. Fully equipped and very nicely decorated. A 5 star stay, that’s for sure.

It was very good location for stay near the Great Wall (1,5 km). The owner are very freandly. They met us at 22.00 and prepared the very good dinner and breakfast. It was included in price. The room was clean and warm (it was very cold outside). They helped us to lift to the Great Wall and back. Thank you!
