This is definitely the place I can say I would like to come back or would have liked to stay longer. The accommodation is cosy surrounded by beautiful gardens. Breakfast tastes like home and is delicious! Leo, host of the place as its said in Spanish “Buena gente”, you can tell its such a good person that makes this place even more home like. Everyone super kind. 1000 % recommend

It was by far the best hotel we stayed at in Costa Rica. This brand-new place is incredibly cool and stylish. The decor was stunning, and everything was spotless. Having a kitchen in the room made us really happy, and having a private jacuzzi in the garden was amazing. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. What makes this hotel so special is the service and surroundings - amazing thermal pool area surrounded by exotic tropical gardens. Nothing is better after a day's hiking, than returning to the hotel in the afternoon and soaking in one or more of the heated jacuzzis or having a drink at the heated main pool bar. The temperature of the pools ranged between 38° to 40° celsius and the water was refilled constantly with fresh water from the thermal springs. The staff were all so friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cater to our needs. Everyone from housekeeping (bed decorations with rose petals and a towel shaped like an elephant), to pool bar staff (top notch margaritas), front of desk staff (friendly check-in with many personal touches), restaurant staff (coffee replenished efficiently during rush hour) and front gate security entrance guard (jokes and banter as we were welcomed back like old friends after each days outing). These little touches across the board point to excellent management from the top. We had a beautifully decorated room, incredible bathroom with state-of-the-art shower and luxurious natural spa bath products. We booked a couples massage at the Loto spa and both the facilities and masseuses were great! We thoroughly recommend this for a great start to the vacation. The location of the hotel is on the main road so you do get some traffic noise but the convenience of being able to easily drive into La Fortuna and the warmth and efficiency of the staff more than made up for this. Plus our room had amazing views of the volcano and it was quite something to wake up and watch the sunrise from our balcony with the volcano in front of us.

This was probably my favorite part of Costa Rica Trip! It was so surreal to spend some time disconnected and surrounded by such beautiful nature. Loved all the trails, but sandaderos in bosque la tigra was my favorite. It’s a primary and secondary rainforest property they have nearby and you can visit it for a small fee. I saw there more wildlife by myself than in any other forests walking with a guide. I did a night tour and we walked around the property, not even rainforest further out, and saw 3 snakes within the first 5minutes, so many frogs and other insects, and the guide was very knowledgable. I also planted a tree there and it was a really beautiful experience of giving back to the nature and community. Overall service is 10/10, always with a smile, always asking a question or two. No connection at all anywhere except the reception, but wifi there is stronger than in most coworkings I have visited here in Costa Rica. The only thing that was challenging for me personally and I have not seen it mentioned in the comments is if you sometimes get car sick, a road to the property will make you car sick, so please have some medicine handy. But it’s the entire area around that is like this, so just accepting it as part of adventure. I recommend staying for 2-3 nights and spending it in the lodge area enjoying the nature, the best disconnection and reconnection with the self “retreat” 🤭

We can’t say enough good things about this place :) Right from the time we arrived, we were amazed at their hospitality! We were offered a flavourful welcome drink, our room was decorated, and they also left us complimentary champagne and chocolates for our anniversary! The property itself is beautiful!!! The rooms are spacious and you wake up to the sounds of birds. The pool and the jacuzzi were great. Randall (at the reception) & Josue (our server) were amazing! Mary (took us for a night walk around the property) and Ray were great! They also gifted us a souvenir when we were checking out :)

Nayara Springs is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The staff were amazing, and the hotel itself absolutely perfect. The room was spotless, the outdoor natural hot spring pool incredible. There is also so much to do on the doorstep, with easy access to Arenal National Park, La Fortuna town, sloth trails, the volcano and lava fields and so much more. I can't stress enough how wonderful a stay we had. In addition there are so many options for food with everything from Costa Rican, to Tapas, to Italian and Asian. We stayed for 8 nights and had the most wonderful time.

This complex is very impressive. It is surrounded by nature and we've seen many animals on the property: coatis, monkeys, snakes, frogs and lost of big birds. There is a pool and jacuzzi. We had breakfast admiring the volcano and watching "National Geografic" unfolding live in front of our eyes. I think this is the closest you can get to "living in paradise".

Amazing place. Surroundings, landscape, garden, nature, wildlife- fabulous. Takes from 20 to 40 minutes to get to min attractions but it’s definitely worth it as La Fortuna is noisy and highly tourists oriented. Really tranquil place. Restaurant served high starred food, it was delicious.

The centre is not over touristified.

The centre is not over touristified. A few good supermarkets. A good variety of food options, with some good Sodas. A lot of accommodation to choose from. Nice Central Park. Many activities to choose from, and easy to get transport to them if you don’t have a car. The Mundo 12 zip lines can’t be missed.

Our trip was mostly rejuvenation, health and to access the volcano and hot springs. We went to Arenal park and hiked the trail to the Volcano. We saw a Capibara but most other wildlife is best viewed in the early morning. There were a lot of orchids in bloom along the trails. Going to EcoTermales Hotspring was the highlight. It's a gorgeous naturally constructed spa with layered pools, waterfalls all built with stacked granite rockery, bridges and pathways connect the pools, and there's plenty of seating, an open bar that serves the best mixed drinks. The restaurant served fresh healthy assortment of seafood and meats with veggie dishes with dessert at Lunch. The water was fed from the natural hotspring, which was circulated , refreshed constantly with fresh volcanic water. Attention to the holistic elements of nature were throughout. Staff and Service were top notch.

We enjoyed the area and while we did a lot including driving...

We enjoyed the area and while we did a lot including driving to Monteverde for zipline tour, we chose one day of pampering rather than adventure so did not hike around Arenal or paddle board on Arenal. We did white water rafting between Puerto Viejo and Fortuna. We did waterfall repelling near Fortuna (amazing). The people are friendly and the area is lovely. We enjoyed a night time nature tour with our hotel (Noah's Landing) and Nayara Gardens was amazing. We saw plenty of sloths but so much more! We went to the Mistico hanging bridges on a rainy day which worked well-it did not matter. We also visited the Fortuna Waterfall (500 steps down-then 500 steps up but worth it!) If you like adventure- there is plenty. If you want to relax-it is a beautiful place to do so.

This is a great area to experience Costa Rica and the wildlife. We visited Mistico hanging bridges (great with a guide as located creatures we would not have); La Fortuna waterfall (no guide needed); Sky adventures (aerial tram, zip lines & trails); sloth guided tour; Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails (day pass with lunch) - all of which we would recommend!
