Very beautiful, peaceful place with amazing view. Yet very close to center. Easy parking. We chose Diamond Royal and it was one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve ever been. Very spacey, cosy with wonderful woodwork furniture. Exceptionally clean place. Personal is very professional and friendly, we’ve been helped with whatever extra thing needed. Part of area is cosy restaurant with delicious meals, offering local wine and great service. We travel quite a lot, so we can compare, this stay was really beyond. Can only recommend and we hope to come back soon.

An absolutely fantastic place! We had an apartment with our own private outdoor hot tub, separated from the rest of the complex, so we could practically walk around naked. The apartment itself was very comfortable, with well equipped kitchen annex and outside dining area. We loved the idea of basket breakfasts, which allowed us to eat whenever and wherever we wanted. Oh, and the wine cellar with individual fully stocked wine coolers for each room: what a splendid idea! The manager is an absolutely friendly and helpful person, he drove us around the village showing all the points of interest, and reserved for us a wine tasting session at the local winery (highly recommendable!). We made a new reservation for next year before we even left the place, what better recommendation do you need?

Very stylish interior and exterior. Minimalistic design of the building goes very well with the surroundings. The terrace that is available for all guest has a view over the valley. We were lucky to have a clear sky at night so the views were amazing. The selection of wines was superb. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

In general exceptional stay that exceeded the expectations. Everything was perfect! Cute and cozy room, fancy bathroom, beautiful kitchen. Nice, clean scent in the hotel. Friendly staff that brought breakfast into our room. I just wish we travelled in summer, not cold winter :)

Beautiful property with even more beautiful garden, garden house with an option to choose any of the great wine selection from the region, big outdoor pool, kids playground. Wonderful staff, very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back, highly recommended.

First at all thanks the stuff for hospitality and kindness. Standard Room number was huge, clean and with coffee machine! We enjoyed the breakfast, and ice cream for dessert:) The swimming pool is excellent, under roof (in case of rainy day) with warm hot tub!

We just wanted to see the castle, but it turns out that you...

We just wanted to see the castle, but it turns out that you can't visit the castle itself - you have to buy admission to one of the exhibitions taking place there. There are several exhibitions, so you also need to buy several tickets... Or you can be satisfied with the opportunity to see a few rooms. On the other hand, the castle itself is not as interesting as its immediate surroundings, which can be seen for free: towers, views, gardens, etc. We came across a festival (probably St. Martin's Day), so we weren't allowed to go to any of the recommended restaurants (we had to have a reservation), but thanks to that we went to one that wasn't recommended - which turned out to be very good. The city has a parking zone throughout the week (including weekends), but the first hour of parking is free. Note: there are few parking meters.

Very nice and clean small city, Moravia is a wine oriented region and during summer season it is full of people , and there is a great bicycle infrastrcture so, wines, bicycle, friends and czech people - cant get any better :)

Lednice is an easy place to get to.

Lednice is an easy place to get to. Hey have great accommodations throughout the city. So many things to see and do as within the area. We loved venturing out on our adventures to see other parts of the country. It is very a beautiful area! People are very accommodating and helpful. I would love to go back another time to take in more of the sights.

We visited Zaječí for relaxation and to see Valtice castle and The Town of Mikulov. The nearby lake Novomlýnská Reservoir is very beautiful. Both palace and Mikulov town is very amazing and must see things around.

A small rustic town in wine-growing region of Moravia.

A small rustic town in wine-growing region of Moravia. Calm environment, nice for doing nothing or doing nothing while drinking large amounts of good wine. Fine area for bike trips or walking trips, beautiful Lednice area just 5km away, many wine cellars around... There is one restaurant and one pizzeria and that's all, so accomodation with kitchenette is strongly recommended for longer stays.

Such a pretty old town centre with a square surrounded by...

Such a pretty old town centre with a square surrounded by lovely buildings. It was full of cafes and shops. Then the large castle loomed over the town from its hilltop position. You can walk through the castle gardens and along the path around the castle to admire it. From there the views over the town and across the countryside were stunning. We also visited the castle of Lednice only a short drive away. Just beautiful!

Valtice are called the "hearth of czech winemaking" and I...

Valtice are called the "hearth of czech winemaking" and I cannot more than agree. So many options what to do, from walking in the vineyards, enjoying historical sites, cycling, great food and wine in the local cellars or visiting neighbouring villages - there is always thing to do.

This was one of the best places we've ever stayed!

This was one of the best places we've ever stayed! The village looks like a fairy tale literally. The owner is very friendly. The room quality and furniture is beyond expectations-very clean, well equiped and modern, cozy athmosphere! We felt really welcome. The beds are wide and comfortable, the breakfast was served in the room due to the pandemic measures. I would come back for sure if I pass through CZ again.

Mikulov is a lovely little town close to Austrian border.

Mikulov is a lovely little town close to Austrian border. It is famous for its vineyards and wine tasting facilities. You should definitely walk up to the Mikulov castle and Sv Kopecek hill. This is a must see! We ate in O’Hara restaurant which is greatly recommended.
