When we arrived reception was closed but they left us the keys and welcome note. Very nice after being delayed with the train. Also were very nice about using the spa and just in general a lovely place to stay! Very nice breakfast and man at the breakfast working super hard en being very friendly!

    The apartment is complete with everything you can need, very clean and comfortable. The owner, the family and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is very relaxing and peaceful. A perfect point to start to visit Oberstdorf and many other alpine attractions in the area. Many trails in the nature and on the mountains. Parking free just in front of the house. Fast wifi, tv with many channels. Many services are available for the guests, that I was not able to try everything. Very easy and fast check-in and check-out. A perfect choice for a relaxing holiday.

    The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Our room has a mini-fridge. Towels, a bathrobe, and home shoe for the sauna are provided. There are two saunas (one with a beautiful view), a steam bath, and a lovely relaxation area with tea. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of food, including yogurt, muesli, fruit, cheese, wurst, bread, juice, and coffee/tea. The location is directly next to three ski lifts and a cross-country skiing track. Lass mich wissen, falls du noch Anpassungen möchtest! 😊

    The owner, Steffen and his family members - Maximilian and Eva made the extra effort to build rapport with us. They made us feel so welcome at the hotel. They even had a free 'gluhwein' session outside the hotel for all the hotel guests on the evening we arrived. Steffen was so sweet and gifted us a bottle of 'gluhwein' when we complimented how tasty his homemade 'gluhwein' was. Such a lovely man ! Besides that. the room, sauna, breakfast and dinner were excellent!

    Everything thing here was great. The check in was easy. A garage to park your car in and a warm room for your ski boots. The studio apartment we stayed in was excellent. It was very clean, had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen, and it all looked brand new. The bed was very comfortable with high end sheets and pillows. A great plus is that you can see the ski lift from out of the window.

    Great location. The bus stop to different places / towns - 5 min walk. We had no car, but is was easy to reach different ski resorts (we used Bolsterlang and Ofterschwang ski resorts). Ski bus (Pendelbus) - 7 min walk. Buses are free if you are a guest of the hotel. The village shop (Dorfladen) - 3 min walk. Breakfast was fantastic!!!! Very clean. Overall a fantastic stay.

    A small but perfectly formed Alpine village that suited our purposes. The hiking was great and the air fresh. The only thing to be aware of is that there are not too many eating places to choose from. Not a big deal, as the ones that are there are excellent.

    We had a very pleasant stay here even if it was only one evening!! This place does not normally get Americans, so it was fun for us to chat with the locals at the near by restaurant and at our apartment. The 2 bathrooms were great with our party of six. Everyone raved about the rain shower! Enjoyed our stay.

    Obermaiselstein is a charming little village located in a very beautiful area, surrounded by mountains. It looked great in winter when everything is covered with snow. A good place to stay for ski holidays or for mountain hiking. It is just a short drive to Obersdorf and Balderschwang ski resort.
