This place is a gem. Very close to public transit and one stop from the airport, close to stores. Lovely balcony with table and chairs. Next to a road but excellent sound insulation.     Excellent 👌 We stayed here during the long weekend of the 14th July, as we live in France, and we were extremely pleased. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and you'll have amazing views of the forest from most rooms and from the pool. The pool is also great, and it was one of the things that made us choose this hotel, as we wanted to relax and enjoy the hot summer weather. The staff is 5 stars! From the reception, to the restaurant, everyone was extremely polite, welcoming and friendly. We don't speak German very well, and everyone made us feel comfortable by speaking in English with us (a special thanks to the gentleman that served us dinner both nights!). The hotel is also very clean and comfortable. Our room was spacious, had a lovely garden and we felt at home here. The restaurant is also amazing! Our dinner was excellent, really, with healthy, fresh and rich ingredients, but without all that nonsense new-trend cuisine. We loved it! Also, we think the hotel is a great value if you choose half-board. We think the price of the room, with everything you have access to (spa, pool, beautiful forest...), is extremely reasonable considering the quality food (and generous portions!) you get. Also, lunch/brunch is included (with salads, a lot of fresh and delicious fruit, cakes, etc), and you also have fruit and tea in a space by the pool and spa. We thought is was so generous! Overall, we were extremely pleased and we'll definitely be coming back in the future. It's German quality and German hospitality at its best! Highly, highly recommended!

    Absolutely stunning location and beautiful little village. Lovely friendly welcome, our room was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Lovely little balcony to take in the view. Ensuite was high quality with everything you could need. Dinner was superb, again with excellent staff . Breakfast was excellent with a huge selection of food and drinks. Just stunning 😍. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to make use of the pool etc as we were on a motorbike trip and limited time but hopefully next time! Can't recommend this place enough.

    The swimming is one of the best I've seen; big, spacious facing floor-to-ceiling windows. The room we had was really large and comfortable. I usually notice the little details so I was very impressed by the heavy door handles and the doors themselves; solid, heavy, and built right. Breakfast at the Wintergarten was spectacular.     Having lived here for a few years I have always loved Stuttgart. There are so many things to see and do. They always seem to have an event going on somewhere. My absolute favorite thing is the public transportation you can take to anywhere. I love riding it and being able to see everything. I used to ride it just because it was so fun and I wanted to see if I could ride it to every station :-) I love the food too. Schwabian food is so yummy from flammkuchen to maultaschen there is something for everyone. I could live in Stuttgart and be a tour guide.

    Definitely recommend to take the tram for sightseeing. The tram tickets are easily obtainable at the vendor machines at almost every Haltestelle for everyone’s convenience. Hop on and hop off as you please, there is plenty to see. To me, the central city cobblestone streets with the tram passing through reminded me of Bulgarian capital city of Sofia very much. Worth a visit!

    The experience of visiting Karsluhe during X mas time is magical. Make sure check out all X mas markets, including Children's market where the characters of fairy tales come "alive". The main town square is a huge X mas town. I would advise to see the market during daytime and evening when the lights make everything so beautiful. There were different festive areas in the city, including big skating ring, with lots of lights. Make sure check city's website about X mas markets.

    Baden-Baden is worth a couple of days if you want to see the original European spa town, on the edge of the Black Forest. Two thermal spas dominate the town. There are good rail connections: we came from Munich with one brief change for a 3-hour total journey; there is a 1.5 hour direct train to the Frankfurt airport, which makes Baden-Baden convenient for those using Condor or other Frankfurt-based airlines.

    Plenty of Oriental food outlets also hairdressers and men's barbers....only one Italian restaurant to be found. Lots of Chinese restaurants couldn't find traditional German restaurants. Which was a shame.

    The town has everything for a weekend stay. A good selection of shops, restaurants and coffee places. The market square has seats for relaxing and watching the world go by.     Lovely medieval old town, very well preserved with few architectural sins. In springtime beautifully flowered, very clean despite the masses of visitors. Extraordinary city hall from the 16th century. Spectacular location on the Neckar river. Lots and lots of pubs and eateries, it is, after all, a student town. Try the restaurant "Forelle". Lovely, beautifully decorated dining hall with murals from the 19th century and excellent, reasonably priced food and friendly service.
