The room was well appointed and styled well for a Health Conscience Beach Hotel. The Breakfast Room had a wide variety to suit almost anyone. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Recommendations for dining and sightseeing were spot on, as well as tips to avoid walking on the beach without the supplied pass. Overall, I enjoy this Hotel and will return in the Summer or Fall (it was very wet and stormy)

FAQs about hotels in North Sea Coast Germany

Pure and Calm, Picturesque and Chic

The unique German North Sea coast is both a beach resort and a nature paradise. This area of Germany spans for near 600 km, plus islands and islets, mostly influenced by the Frisian culture. Between the mainland and the islands, the low tide exposes large areas of mud flats called ‘Wattenmeer’.

The Wadden Sea National Park protects this unique ecosystem. It was declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and hosts more than 3,000 animal species. Rest in a hotel on the German North Sea coast, and admire this stunning natural landscape.

The East Frisian Islands include Borkum, Norderney, Baltrum, Langeoog, and Wangerooge. Along the coast, the towns and cities of Norden, Carolinensiel, Wilhelmshaven, Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven are important destinations. We have a vast offering of hotels on the German North Sea islands and coast on our website.

The most famous of the North Frisian Islands is probably Sylt, a well-known retreat for celebrities, while Föhr, Amrum or Nordstrand are also charming destinations. In the mainland, Büsum, Husum and Sankt Peter-Ording are popular towns.

Find Sylt 5-star hotels and pamper yourself among the famous, or get the best North Sea hotels in Germany’s natural areas to enjoy a relaxing holiday. On Booking.com we have an option for every guest!

Cuxhaven is a lovely beach town if one wants to stroll and relax. There are just so many walking and hiking trails along the coast and in wildlife parks throughout the area. the city itself is really pretty with lovely roads, beautiful homes, clean neighborhoods and a very delightful city center. the Kugel bake, Alte Liebe, Dicke Berta, Duhnen Strand, Schloss Ritzebüttel were really pleasant to visit. The beach is incredible. Really.

The beach is incredible. Really. The restaurants are ridiculously expensive and the offer is very narrow. Curry worst €10.50! Simple salads €18.50. And if you consider that Fish Sandwiches are food you’re in luck, because that is really about it. That and Italian food. The only "good" meal I had was down on the beach at Arche Noah and it was pasta, of course. The "Baths" are a bit thin on the ground. Not a spa at all. Not even close. But something to do when it is raining, though you may have to wait 2 hours to get in.
