This is nothing less than a perfect place to stay. The requests I had upon reservation were answered right away. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. And then, whether it be the views, the room and the systems in it or the breakfast, all is perfect. This was one of the rare times when we just did not want to leave the room.

Everything at the hotel was just fabulous. Great location, great food and great rooms at a very reasonable price. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and even gave us a knock on the door to make sure we didn’t miss out on breakfast. Would definitely recommend it and hopefully we will get to visit again! Thanks for a great stay!

The hotel is very modern with a digital sign-in procedure that was trouble-free, with someone on hand for those that struggled with the electronics. The room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. As I was travelling by bike, I asked if there was any secure storage, and there is a lock-up around the back of the hotel.

Good position for my business needs. Room very comfortable, neat and tidy. Useful parking lot in front of the hotel, plus further parking in the street. Staff was kind and helped to solve an issue. Breakfast not very rich but good enough. On the other hand the restaurant for the dinner was really good.

    Lovely hotel in a quiet location. Lovely views over the valley below. There is ample free car parking available and lots of walking trails through the forest. The staff are excellent and speak good English. The rooms are very large, comfortable and well appointed. The food is excellent and good value.

    Lovely staff, great room (a really generous size) and excellent breakfast and evening meal. We were wet when we arrived after a long cycle on eurovelo6 and were able to store our bikes securely and even dry our clothes in a drying room.

    There really isn't much in Mengen: a small main street area, a couple of grocery stores, and a movie theater. However, there were an awful lot of young people just hanging out on the streets, seemingly looking for something to do.

    Tuttlingen is located in a beautiful part of Germany, surrounded by the Black Forest. The castle ruins, around which the town in centered, are beautiful, definitely worth seeing. Apart from that, there is not much to do in the town, at least in the winter. There are some lovely hiking areas nearby, such as Fürstlicher Park. You should probably hire a car to make the most of this area. Really amazing nature and scenery.
