The owners are utmost friendly and ensure a very enjoyable stay, … especially for me as an elderly biker, even offering the garage port and to dry my leather clothing after passing through a shower shortly before my arrival. Hospitality is the best I've ever had! The hostel room is so nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and the best shower. Market right in front of the hotel, gas station next street. There are a lot of things to see around. I will come again here for sure 😄

The whole experience - top to bottom - was perfect. First, they were very responsive in English before arrival. We changed our arrival time 4 times and they had no problem. We arrived at 22:30 and everything was ready for us. The check-in was quick and perfect. The room was ready with beds ready for our children and a tiny gummy bear bag on the pillow for the kids. The room was very clean. The breakfast was fantastic both for us and the kids (make your own waffle!). Checkout was seamless - just dropped the key and left. Would highly recommend!

    Gottingen is a lovely town and very easy to negotiate.

    Gottingen is a lovely town and very easy to negotiate. We drove from Frankfurt and there was plenty of parking everywhere including near the university and city centre. There are a diverse range of restaurants and shops in the city. Plenty of places to sit out and have drinks, ice cream of coffee and people watch.

    It was a business trip and I was there only for some hours.

    It was a business trip and I was there only for some hours. Most impressive was the place of the destroyed Synagogue and the old buildings in the city. I was there to preach at the Christ Embassy Church and the people were really friendly and kind. So I was picked up and brought back to my hotel after the service and had to travel immediately

    It's worth taking time out to explore Hameln and experience the charm of this fairy tale town. The old town is really quite beautiful, and there are plenty of street cafes to choose from. It lacks the pizzaz of more cosmopolitan towns, and has a less affluent feel to it, but this merely adds to the charm of a town that represents "old Germany".

My partner and I both had a sore back from the mattrass and the pillows are so thin you need to ask for a second pillow! * For German standards the breakfast is simple * When checking in the lady from the reception did not speak English and when we left no questions asked like how was your stay. Just sign-off and be on your way. * The swimmingpool is very small...maybe only ok for little children. * Interiour hotel and room outdated/old fashioned

    I was only in the charming historical part of the time.

    I was only in the charming historical part of the time. There were few cars and a very free feeling as people were on foot and riding bicycles. I could go everywhere I wanted to go on foot. However, I never came across a city map which could have kept me from getting lost. The buses were very quiet. The cuisine was varied and well-prepared. I ate all my meals in the Gao Indian restaurant on Kurze Geismar Strasse because it was the best Indian restaurant I have ever experienced. I didn't visit any sites because I was doing research in the university's archives.

    Hildesheim is a lovely place full of friendly people...

    Hildesheim is a lovely place full of friendly people excellent cafes and restaurants and simply a feeling of relaxation. On our two trips to watch the invaders American football team we have been lucky to coincide with a wonderful Craft fair in the Magdalene Gardens and then a music festival on the second weekend. We didn’t go looking for either event they just seemed to find us!
