BelgiumIt was an excellent choice given that it is a few steps from the beach, I would say that it is excellent quality for the price, the rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable. they offer you breakfast in the morning included in the price. I expected much less, there was fresh fruit, toast, biscuits, jam, coffee, tea etc.

This was my 5th visit at this hotel, the first being in 2002, when the resort had just opened, and my last one 10 years ago.
The rooms are now renovated, as well as the bathrooms, which were updated to the current standards.
The entire area has developed quite a bit, there are now shops nearby and places where you can spend time. When I was there last, there was nothing around the hotel. Now it's a small village with inner roads and dozens of small shops and small hotels.
The port is now 5 minutes away just east of the resort, so it is easy to leave and arrive for/from excursions.
The best restaurant in the resort is still the Gheisha (japanese).
The kids loved the stay and can't wait to get back :)

The staff was very friendly and helpful, they were trying their best to help. We arrived late but they still offered us a fresh, tasty dinner and freshly made pineapple juice. The facilities and rooms aren't new and shiny, but they are kept very clean - we won't see any dust or dirt in this place. You can go to the rooftop restaurant and take a look at see from there.

Very attentive, cheerful and kind staff. The meals were excellent with diverse options all the time, basically we never felt hungry. The pools and the beach are really beautiful, and the organized daily programs are fun to attend. In addition, I really recommend the trip to Isla Saona, it's just an amazing place to see.

The place is like a very nice resort. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. The pool area is amazing and calm. This is a perfect space for relaxing. I really enjoy sharing with the beautiful cats around. I invite other guests to share with them and give them some food ;).

It's a quaint little town.
It's a quaint little town. All the restaurants are Italian or pizzerias. They were fair to good. The stores are interesting. It is a small village. We enjoyed exploring it, but there's not a huge amount there besides the souvenir shops, a few clothing stores, a few bars, a few coffee shops, and a few restaurants.

Casa de Campo is very calm and relaxing.
Casa de Campo is very calm and relaxing. Not a place for party-goers. Roads are clean, very secure and you can walk around. A paradise for golf players. Restaurants are fine, but everything is expensive. Prices are in dollars and at American rates, while product and service remains Dominican. Surely a money making machine for the owners.

which is located together in the hotel area.
It is possible to use all services for payment in hotels.
It is close to the swimming pools and three of them are filled with sea water.
The fourth is freshwater.
Nice umbrellas, a sufficient number of sunbeds on a sandy base.
Since the hotel is on a rock, there is no classic sandy beach and the entrance to the sea is via stairs. However, this does not detract from the attractiveness.
Parking outside the building is charged 24 hours a day.

Bayahibe small and cozy, easy to drive, we were there to look for possible place to live. However the europeans have locked up the town and are building many apartment complex's for tourism. Too expensive to rent or buy in Bayahibe. Nice place to visit at Villa Baya for 4 days and that is it. 30 tour bus's bring in 2000 people daily from all over to go on catamaran tours, particularly to Isla Saona I suspect, as well as the scuba business. When the apartment complexs are finished in the next 2 to 3 years, Bayahibe is going to be totally overcrowded I suspect. I asked about snorkel tour for a couple hours. $150 usd!!!!! OUCH!! I am a snorkeler as well as a dedicated swimmer.

Stayed their for only one night as we were picking up a cruise the next day. Everything was good and the service was exceptional. As two senior women travelling I was very happy that the resort provided a wonderful person to pick us up at the airport and then he took us to the cruise port the next morning. I would definately stay their again. Also we arrived late evening so most eating places were closed so the owner made us an amazing pizza. This was a wonderful jesture as we were both tired from a long travel day and just wanted to relax. This was much appreciated.
