FAQs about hotels in Andalucía
Pulsating with History and Tradition
Resounding with flamenco, the fabulous Spanish region of Andalusia (or Andalucía) has world-class attractions, wonderful scenery and welcoming beaches.
Some of the best Andalusia hotels are in Costa del Sol resorts including Nerja and glitzy Marbella, neighbour of exclusive Puerto Banús. Nearby is Málaga, Picasso’s city with relics of its Roman past.
Moorish influences have also left magnificent marks. Formerly a mosque, the incredible Córdoba Mezquita is now a cathedral. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra is a former sultans’ residence looking down on lovely Granada, home to some romantic Andalucia hotels and apartments on Booking.com.
You can ski in the Sierra Nevada, and also in mountains by Aracena north of Seville, the region’s sun-drenched capital with a gigantic Gothic cathedral and amazing architecture in Plaza de España. It also has a ring where controversial bullfighting occurs.
Its nearest beaches are on the Costa de la Luz, between Isla Canela (by Portugal) and Tarifa. Nearby is Algeciras, across the bay from Gibraltar. Other popular Andalusia beaches are in Costa de Almería resorts including Roquetas de Mar and Mojacar.
Inland, on a steep escarpment, Arcos de la Frontera, is one of the White Villages of Andalusia. Nearby is Jerez, home of sherry. To the east is Ronda with its high bridge spanning a deep gorge.

- From US$69.48 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 126 reviewsWe were probably very lucky that our pre-booked mobile house in different camping of this area got cancelled (maybe due to the storm it had passed 2 nights before we arrived, maybe due to the off-season laziness). We had arranged a ground floor apartement in this camping quickly instead. It shown up as a great descision. Everything went smooth, the place was clean, just our size for 2 with 2 kids. The restaurant was closed that night and next morning, but we arrived with some food which we just prepared in the kitchen easily. We didn’t expected more, even there were some shops opened around anyway. It might be little tricky with hot water for those who are not fully friendly with gas bottles, i didn’t find it as a problem but I’m sure the personnel would had been helpful.Guest review byPavelCzech Republic

Seville isn't as beautiful or modern as the other cities in...
Seville isn't as beautiful or modern as the other cities in Spain I've visited, which include Valencia, Alicante, Granada and Malaga. Its historic center is huge, but is not nearly as impressive as that of Granada, Valencia and Malaga. Yes, the Maria Luisa park was impressive with its historic buildings, and the San Nicolas overlooked was a great place to view the Alhambra castle. But since I'm considering relocating to Spain, I prefer a city that has more to offer on a daily basis than churches and a beautiful castle.Guest review byAngeloUnited States - 8.0
Loved strolling through the old town.
Loved strolling through the old town. We visited the castles, the Picasso museum and the port/ harbour. Need to research restaurants - we just picked somewhere in the tourist zone and it was awful. Castles area is lovely but complex as it's big/ bit unclear. Harbour was great/ lots of mega-yachts and shopping/ felt more like Dubai.Guest review byFionaBelgium - 10.0

Granada is full of history, beautiful buildings/plazas, and the ALHAMBRA (the finest example of Moorish Architecture). At the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mtns, you have access to nature and an incredible backdrop for photos. The city isn't too large, is friendly, and is very walkable. People really enjoy coming out at night, and there is a wonderful, comfortable feel to an evening stroll.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 10.0

A hidden gem of a city, you must go yourself and discover it. If you like wandering around and just getting lost it’s the place for you. A surprise around every corner, wonderful architectural and historical buildings. It had a wonderful vibe about it, great tapas bars and restaurants, we did a little research on YouTube and found some amazing places, full of wonderful Spanish people out to enjoy the day/night, embrace their culture and you will be embraced in return. They Mezquita is outstanding.Guest review byWilliamUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Good restaurants good weather clean beaches and clean seafront. Did not like the main centre parts where dirty .I like to go to a proper spannish bar to eat spannish food so I went to the bar I have been to for the last 3 years but found the staff very unfriendly this time . Maybe it's the anti tourist thing.overall I had a good holiday and I will be back .love malaga and tha area .Guest review bysteele - 10.0

Great choice of bars and restaurants with amazing history. The place is littered with brilliant architecture and Roman Phoenician and Moorish history. The narrow streets are vibrant in the evening with a mix of tourists and local families. Loved it.Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 10.0
