Lovely refurbished building & very nicely decorated rooms. The suite was huge. Loved the little extras, e.g. water, Nespresso capsules… great breaky on the roof terrace. Very nice hosts.

Quiet, clean and comfortable accommodation, with all facilities provided (oven, hob, washing machine, etc.)
Contact with the owner was very simple and clear, with a very friendly and helpful welcome. (fruits and beverages were offered upon arrival, which is extremely kind!)
The place is 2-3 min walk away from a supermarket, making the location very convenient.

Beautifully renovated house with an awesome private garden, which has a sunny patio down one end. Right in the centre of the old town, but very peaceful. The house is a decent size, very clean, well equipped kitchen, and Aguimes is a great location for being able to access the beaches on the south coast while also not being too far from scenic drives into the centre of the island. The Guadeque ravine is right beside the town for both awesome hikes, and the history of the cave houses. Would highly recommend here instead of staying in the busy resorts on the south coast!
The hosts were fantastic! We enjoyed the stay from the beginning to end end! The hosts welcomed us and showed us around and we felt very welcome from the start!
The hosts made very good food, both dinner and breakfast! The fridge was full of beverages when we arrived and everything was offered to very fair prices compared to other places.
The hosts helped us to the new hiking point by driving us up there.
All in all lovely place which we would highly recommend - especially for hikers in the mountains based on the great location of the place!

The house itself is marvelous. The photos reflect it very poorly. It is situated in the closed shared yard with another casa rural. On the first floor you have a kitchen/dining room, a bedroom and a bathroom. On the second floor by the stairs there is a living room and a big terrace (it's a pity owner didn't post it's photos). On the terrace there is a table and chairs, where you could admire a cathedral view from one side and a sea view from the other. The house is very antique and interesting, though it could be cold in the bedroom.

Excellent rural home. The space inside turned out to be much larger than expected from the outside. Large bedroom. Equipped kitchen. Two terraces, a barbecue, a swimming pool, an orange garden, figs and olive trees look onto the balcony, two bathrooms, a washing machine, a fireplace .... it's easier to say what was not there than to list the advantages.
Excellent WiFi.
Аbsolute authentic road to the house, prepare comfortable shoes. Sandals don't fit. For the summer season, it is important that there is little sun.
This was a lovely stay just for one night. The house and private (between you and other housemates) courtyard area were beautiful and super canarian ! Bed comfy, tv working, Internet to connect to, plenty of sofas, plants and birds, a cute parrot neighbour (that made no noise at all), a fully functional communal kitchen. It was a relaxing place and in a really beautiful part of the island! Volveremos para explorar Agüimes uno de estos días! Muchas gracias a todos 😊🤗

We stayed at Los Camellos for our final night in Gran Canaria.
We absolutely loved the location, the old house, the courtyard, window opening towards the camel´s statue etc.
The town was buzzing on a Saturday night, but at night it was all quiet and we had a really good sleep.
We really enjoyed our short stay; unfortunately we left early in the morning and could not enjoy the breakfast they serve.
Very close and convenient for a short drive to the airport.

Great location if you want to get away from it all, quiet and secluded just the place for a detox from the world. Naty and Alberto great hosts to deal with always available to take a call when needed. If you're looking for somewhere out of the way, unpretenious and yet welcoming and spacious, this is the place.
Amazing place to stay with young kids. The heated pool was the highlight of the property. Kids loved it. The property is very close to airport but you must have your own car to drive around. The property was clean and Pedro was very welcoming and helpful.

Apartment in the center of the old town. Owner please take care of this place, maybe a little renovation, but I recommend it to future guests, you will spend a nice holiday here in peace, the area around the apartment has its charm
Excellent views to the valley and the mountains, you can see all from the living room, terrace and swimming pool. The mornings are really beautiful with the sunrise from the east mountains and sunset over the west mountains.

Great area lots of places to eat, Yumbo centre for people watching & a drink. Everywhere was very clean & everyone welcoming.
We went also to Puerto Mogan, lovely village worth the trip, and up into the mountains from Madpolomas to Tejeda very narrow roads.... also recommend the Aquarium at Las Palmas, great day out

Ingenio has good road links to all parts of the Island. A car is recommended although bus services are very well connected with all parts of the island and a direct connection with the Airport.
Basic shops, pharmacy, supermarkets, takeaway outlets are on the Main Street. Petrol stations and Bank. It does lack any kind of nightlife venues. It is not a typical tourist town.

There are no typical old towns on the island of Gran Canaria (except Telde, Las Palmas and small Teror). Aguimes also does not have an old town where you can walk for a long time. But the houses are nice and well-kept - as are the streets. An ideal place as a base for exploring the south-eastern part of the island.

This area is so perfect for hiking, relaxing and experiencing peaceful nature.
At this time of year the mountains are filled with flowers.
It just makes me feel glad to be alive, breathing mountain air and to be surrounded by unspoilt nature. I hiked circular route 8, Roque Vela, and route 3 from Cuevas Blancas back to El Rincón.
I cooked in the casa because I enjoyed relaxing evenings there.
It was really easy to get there by guagua. 80 Santa Catalina to Telde, then 13 to El Rincon.

Santa Lucia is a great base. 4 restaurants, all with a different atmosphere, a decent shop.
You probably do want a car, but with a car it's pretty easy to get to the beach (about half an hour), or to most of the nice hikes around Gran Canaria within an hour's drive at most.

The old town is very beautiful (but quiet) and there are nice walks to be taken for those who like that, always something new to see. It's almost free of tourists (except me) and relaxed, the groceries have decent hours, and there are good restaurants and a gourmet shop by the church that towers over the town. More central there are buses going wherever you like, regular services. Close to the airport.

Good location in the old town. Interesting and friendly little town. Bistros/Bars close by. Good atmosphere. Quite close to the bus station.
No Wi-Fi working. Bed was too short with an old mattress.
Staff member was helpful.

Property is in desperate need of refurbishment and repair.
Property is in desperate need of refurbishment and repair. If the property was up to scratch, the holiday would have been worth the money, which was, frankly, very expensive. Beautiful views and peace and quiet and having a games room saved the day. We made the most of it, and enjoyed our holiday despite the failings of the property.

Santa Lucia is a small village with minimal facilities; two small supermarkets and a small number of places to eat but we found it quite adequate. The facilities aimed at the local population are much more interesting than those aimed at tourists. The bar next to the artinasal bakers provide good honest basic food at a reasonable cost. The bakers make very interesting local breads, The maize flour rolls are particularly worth tracking down.
