The town is split by a main road.
The town is split by a main road. One side is the charming old part, the other a modern extension with shops and not great restaurants. The old town has the usual narrow cobbled streets and mediaeval churches plus some mediocre restaurants; this was our only criticism, not many eateries worth visiting. Beautiful medieval village, lots of well preserved architecture. Very quiet off season so no one around. Only 3 bars open. Staff weren’t too friendly. We chose one bar and the owner warned to us and ended up serving us an ok meal outside. Dogs are not allowed in anywhere. Slightly expensive for what we ate. It was very cold. We arrived in Siquenza at around lunchtime and were staying for just one night. I would say that was the right amount of time as it is not a big place and unless you really like to go into all the history of everywhere then there is more than enough time to walk round and see the lovely architecture of the old buildings. There are some lovely walks apparently but we didn't venture out on any of them due to the weather not being too good.
