The room was very spacious and modern, it was even better than we expected. We also had a very warm and friendly welcome 😊 There were attentions such as chocolate bars, water and blankets to chill on the terrace. It was so nice and cosy, we recommend Casa Gercko for sure. Gracias por todo 🙏

Comfortable well located place: Nice and calm (except for the always present fascinating sound of the waves), and yet a good choice of restaurants and bars only 100m away. Fully equipped and with a very nice and big terras with outlook to the ocean over the village. And the host had always a great smile!

The accommodation of El Pescador exceeded any expectations. To be able to look at the best sunsets on the ocean from the private terrace is just priceless. The apartment was extremely clean, super cozy and charming. It even smelled beautifully! To be able to stay in this viviendas is absolutely giving you the chance to experience the real Lanzarote, authentic and far away from the mainstream tourism. Salvador and Jolanda are simply the best and most caring hosts. We absolutely adored the place and the owners and we already miss it!

Jessica was super nice, helpful and communicative. She made our stay as best as possible by recommending places for groceries and food, checking in if everything was ok and providing basic kitchen ingredients. She even left a wine bottle in the fridge, some fruits and nuts mix, and when we forgot a cable in the place she was so nice to send it to us. The house was cosy, clean and well arranged. There was parking close by and the place was easy to find. The outside part invites you for a sunny breakfast outside, and there are good hiking areas close by.

Had the best family holiday and this was due to this amazing Villa, my sons (ages 11 & 15) loved the games available (look in wardrobes for badminton rackets and table tennis bats) from the large pool table and Xbox for later in the evenings entertainment, but it was the pool that we all enjoyed the most. We paid extra for the heating of pool which was well worth it. A bus stop is literally right outside the front gate with regular buses going into playa blanca every 30 mins from early morning to late evening taking roughly 5-7 mins and at a reasonable cost of €1.40 each which was perfect. The owner allowed us to enter property an hour early and my husband and I were delighted with a lovely bottle of bubbly in fridge which was very much appreciated after our long journey. We paid a €300 deposit on arrival and was refunded on departure. Excellent villa , we recommend very highly.

The location is absolutely stunning with dramatic views of the unique black volcanic vineyards and mountains in all directions, and even a peek of the sea. Breathtaking sunsets from our sunny raised terrace. Totally peaceful, remote location, but walkable to several nice bodegas. The accommodation is rustic, charming, well maintained. Great to have a pool! Yet a private outdoor terrace for the studio. I found the tidy farm landscape quite moving, as the plants were thriving in the seemingly harsh environment, being superbly cared for. Very silent, yet there were bees, birds calling, the sound of the wind. Starry nights. Heavy morning dew. An.astonishing and a cherished experience. I'm grateful the owners gave access to this treasure--thank you!

First of all, El Golfo boasts a perfect volcanic scenery and is a stunning place to stay and dine. The main attraction on Lanzarote, and my favorite spot in the Canary Islands so far, is Timanfaya National Park, which is just a 10-15 minute drive from the apartment. As for the house itself, it is spacious and well-equipped, especially the kitchen. Both the balcony and the terrace are amazing. We were delighted with the welcoming gifts and the little bathtub for our baby boy. The shower is very convenient, and the bathroom overall is excellent. The beds are comfortable, and the bedrooms are spacious. Parking space is always available, even when El Golfo is bustling with tourists.

The villa is so much nicer than the photos! They are very outdated and need a refresh to show people how it really looks. The view is amazinggg! The dishwasher is a great addition for larger groups. Larger tv than the photos in the living room and freshly decorated too! Pool is really well kept and they have added fake grass around the edges which is better for safely around the pool. There’s everything you need in the kitchen and even a bbq outside with the tools you need to use it! Seating areas are great and again is suitable for a large group of people. Taxi to the main town is only 5 minutes and around €5 which is great!

The location it’s among paradise itself, the best sunsets ever seen, the horses from the ranch greeting us every morning, the comfy house, the owner that replies to all your questions and inquires. Even we were able to do a late checkout as I had a job interview. On other details, we had all the main apparels needed as coffee machine, many towels, washing machine and drying machine, and coffee maker. The water was running at all time and the heating was perfect! Great WiFi for working remote as well.

The view from the elevated aspect, the good quality kitchen knife, granite worktop, the several external areas, shade was always available at one or more. The quirky building layout. The quiet area it is located in. The pool is solar heated and a constant depth, temperature up to 28 centigrade, just nice. The cute Gekko's.

The location is super rare for Lanzarote - not many places like this on the west coast of the island. Very relaxed area - perfect peace and quiet for a holiday. We spent a lot of time just sitting out on the terrace relaxing. Great walking routes nearby if you feel you need the exercise. Private swimming pool was a treat.

Where we stayed in Yaiza was very quiet.

Where we stayed in Yaiza was very quiet. A great location for a large group like ours but a must is to have a hire car to enable you to travel freely in and out of more lively areas around the island.

El Golfo is a small village with a small number of houses and permanent residents. Clean, all houses painted white. I really appreciate the silence and the lack of the hustle and bustle of commercial resorts with tourists like in an anthill, that's why I chose El Golfo and rented a car. It's worth renting a car, the roads are of good quality. There is a very small shop with basic products on site, but by car to the large shops, to the town of Playa Blanca is about 15 minutes. During the day there are a few tourists but there are no crowds. In the afternoon there is peace and quiet. In El Golfo there are several great restaurants with good food.

Not much to see in the village itself, but it was a perfect starting point to visit the whole islands. The village is just few minutes away from the Timanfaya national park and not too far from any interesting sight in the whole Lanzarote.

I went there to fly the famous hang gliding sites of Famara, el Cuchillo , Tina Sario and they were all great. Yaiza is a quiet town not really touristy. I liked that. I wanted to practice my Spanish which I had been using for a year . All, and I mean all the locals were warm and welcoming (and they could speak English too) but were patient with my attempts. Local eateries were very reasonably priced though I did also go to a posher restaurant at the back of the town. But even then my meal with drinks was about 20 euros. I also ate ay UGA ad various beaches but I like the local stuff more. Gosh it was clean. No rubbish, no graffiti, the locals take care of their town

El Golfo is a world on its own.

El Golfo is a world on its own. Tourist visit the beauty of playa de los Ciclos and the many fish restaurants. When one leaves the roundabout at Yaiza through the tunnel, one understands the beauty of the speciousness of the natural scenery.....and still; everything is easy to reach from there.

Great location for reaching all parts of the island easily...

Great location for reaching all parts of the island easily by car. It is far away from touristy areas so you are really in a village of locals. We didn't spend much time in the area, although my sons played basketball in the local court. It was mainly our base for visiting the island. The night is noisy with lots of dogs, cats, and donkeys!!! It didn't bother us but it would if you were a light sleeper!!!

We stayed in Marina Rubicon near Playa Blanca specifically...

We stayed in Marina Rubicon near Playa Blanca specifically in Yaiza. It is a well kept resort, with very new infrastructure. Restaurants are on the expensive side around Christmas time. It was the same prices than Brussels. But service is really good and the food was amazing. The views, sunset and beaches are fantastic. It was not too crowded over Christmas and NYE. Just perfect for a winter break.

A car hire is a must .

A car hire is a must . El Golfo, you can walk to the end of the village in 10 mins . There were about 10 restaurants in El Golfo. We tried 3 . By far the best was Costa Azul . Great food friendly staff . Excellent place to view the sunset .
