It faces the Kemijoki River, so we could watch the sunrises from the window. I was worried that it would be cold inside since we went at a time of year when Rovaniemi is quite cold, but there was no reason to worry, the house was really very warm. The bathroom even has underfloor heating. The cottage has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped. Parking is right next to the house. There is a sauna by the river that can be used every day, you just need to make an appointment. It is so beautiful, cosy, authentic. The location is amazing, like being in a winter fairytale. The cabin was specious, super clean, beds were super comfy and all that you might need for a self-catering holiday is there. There are many winter walking trails at your doorstep and it's only a 10 minute walk to climb a small hill from which you can view the lovely aurora. There are sledges available for kids as well. Check out is till 12pm which is great if you have a later flight. I would highly recommend these lovely cabins!!!Guest review byPrzemek

Summer trip to Rovaniemi: Lapland was in a heat wave which held us back a bit as it was rather humid. We enjoyed Arktikum very much, went swimming in the river, walked in the Arctic Gardens and explored the town centre. We planned some hiking but it was hotter than we expected. We went by car just to see the road and environment to Rovaniemi. We were not disappointed. Along the way met other international tourists like that of Poland, France, Spain, Germany.
