Hotel Hanasaari is not far from Helsinki, yet it feels nice and secluded. We were there in winter and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The room was warm and comfortable. We were only there for one night and did not have time to use all of the facilities.

The common area (around the reception / kitchen) is one of the best I've seen, and there also other social area. This gives some of the nice feelings from hostels but with all the structure of a proper good hotel. It's also very close to subway (on Google maps it seems to be a bit further than in reality)

Easy to find, pet friendly - pets are welcome for a fee (20 euro), a lot of green areas outside to walk dogs, there is a treat bag for dogs, a little bowl and towel for dogs, and it is possible to park in front of the hotel, the AC was not working but as it was cold outside we could open the window. Comfortable bed. There were a lot of Asian tourists so when we returned from our morning walk with the dogs we were like celebrities - everyone wanted to chat with us, pet dogs and take pictures :D Breakfast was nice - they had pineapple juice :P

The location of the hotel at the Uuksio National Park and nearby a lake. The room is comfortable and with reasonable size. The shower has its own room with heating floor: it was really warm there. Finally you have microwave oven, a filter Coffee and a water heating machine. Finally you have a self service kitchen so you can stay there as if you were at an apartment.
