Outstandingly clean. Friendly and helpful staff - especially when I managed to make a mistake with the room safe. Super breakfast. Quiet location with an easy journey (about 1.5km) on good cycle tracks back in to town. There was no shortage of parking and we were happy to leave our bikes either locked on the car or locked outside the front door.

really enjoyed our stay at La Licorne! 100% highly recommend! very cute place and very well situated, short walk to the beach and restaurants. very clean and great breakfast available in the morning. staff were incredibly helpful some of our group missed planes to get there and we really appreciate their kindness and help! 10/10 recommend a visit!

We stayed with our dog in a room with sea view and it was truly spectacular! The big and very comfortable room had everything we could wish for, and the location of the hotel is fantastic! Just a 15 minutes relaxed walk to the center around Port Maria, and about 30 minutes coast walk to Pointe Conguel, having great beaches and also delicous food close by. Parking is very easy just in front of the hotel and a lot is reachable in walking distance. The breakfast room with its huge windows facing the cote sauvage is tasteful and comfortable, and the breakfast offers something for every taste, from local speacialities to warm options like bacon and eggs. Leaving this wonderful place made us really sad, and we left with the hope of returning!

The dinner was amazing. One of the best dining experiences we've had in France. I tried the "chefs special" as main dish with lobster and sweetbread - absolutely fantastic! The staff were also very helpful and friendly and i could charge my electric rental car during the stay.

    Everything!! The rooms were tastefully furnished, very roomy and comfortable. The location was excellent- in the countryside so very calm and peaceful but only 5minutes away from Carnac and the beaches by car and lovely cycling along quiet roads and cycle paths. The swimming pool area was immaculate with views over the countryside. The room was spotless and the breakfast was outstanding! The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful, giving all sorts of recommendations from restaurants to cycles. I loved this place - would go back in a heartbeat!

    The hotel is newly refurbished and the attention to detail shows. It is positioned well on the edge of the town centre with lovely views out over the sea. The beautiful beaches are within walking distance. The evening meal in the restaurant was beautiful. The staff were incredibly attentive but not at all overbearing. We had a problem on our first night and were quickly and efficiently moved to another room without question . The ambience allowed a completely relaxed experience.

    we went to Carnac because of the prehistoric history and the stone alignments. we were not disappointed. Carnac town has some very good places to eat. we ate some truely stunning food there. from our hotel we could walk everywhere, the countryside and landscape was beautiful.

    Le Palais is the main town in Belle Ile, which is well named...

    Le Palais is the main town in Belle Ile, which is well named as it is beautiful. It has restaurants, creperies and interesting shops as well as tourist ones. Many people sail here and moor for a night or several. There is a fine 17th century citadel overlooking the town and a little harbour with lots of watch.

    Not Bangor specifically because we didnt stay in the village but Belle Ile is just stunning.Fabulous beaches, plenty of places to eat, novel and quite exciting golf, clear blue seas and wonderful scenery. The car ferry was expensive so we took a passenger ferry and hired a little car which was great.

    I loved the port of Trinite Sur Mer with its countless boats in the harbour. The town has amazing excellent restaurants all along the foreshore and it is a delight to just sit in the sun and watch all the activity on the waterfront. It is such an active little town and I just loved it!

    I may be biased as I got married in this spot but it's truly one of the amazing little places on earth. The place has everything one would need in this part of Brittany. Those seeking parties and post-card like destinations can easily amuse themselves at Port Maria in Quiberon, but Saint-Pierre remains extremely local and family friendly, quiet, with amazing seas perfect for bathing or sailing alike (although the water may be a bit chilly). The menhirs are a reminder of the bronze age history of this 'almost island,' and the Baie de Quiberon and Port Orange seem almost magical with their metamorphosis during the day with the tides. The friendly faces, the fishmongers, and the garage sales (vide grenier) in the village are a reminder of the authenticity of this place. It's a short drive to the Côte Sauvage, and even the Tire-Bouchon ride is idyllic.

    Quiberon is a quaint little shoreside village in Bretagne.

    Quiberon is a quaint little shoreside village in Bretagne. There are beautiful beaches for swimming, for surfing, or for just sitting and looking out to the islands in the Atlantic. There are so many things to do if Quiberon is your base. Firstly, Carnac to see the Menhirs, Megaliths and Tumuli. If you do not have a car, this is a short, cheap bus ride from Quiberon. When you arrive you can pay for a guided tour or you can walk the trails and explore on your own. Then there is Belle-Ile-en-Mer. A 50 minute ferry ride takes you to the lovely island where you can wander around Le Palais or you can hire a bicycle and ride around the island. Of course, you could also take a few days to complete the Grand Randonnee. We stayed on Belle-Ile, however, many pass the day enjoying the island life. If you love sailing, surfing or other water sports you can head around to the Cote Sauvage of Quiberon where the surf awaits. If you like the calmer waters head to the Baie instead. Then there are also boat tours through the Golfe du Morbihan. We did this one too. It was terrific! The guide explained the history of all the sites we passed along the way to Ile aux Moines. We stopped there and wandered around for about an hour before heading back to the boat for the rest of our tour. The boat tour was filled with young families. The kids seemed to be loving it as much as we did! Quiberon has markets on Saturday that are well worth a look and there is currently a Guerin art exposition until August. I loved Quiberon! We were there to days but we could have stayed much longer. Our hosts at Hotel Ker Royal were amazing! So friendly and helpful. They really made sure we had a holiday that we will never forget! Quiberon is a place for families, couples and retirees alike. There is something for everyone.

    Carnac is a very pleasant beach resort with good restaurants...

    Carnac is a very pleasant beach resort with good restaurants and the wonderful pre-historic 3000 stones of Carnac. Surrounded by 6 or 7 white sand beaches and lots of coastal and country paths for walks. Vannes is only 40 mins away and definitely worth a trip to see.

    Ok. So we found the whole experience fantastic. Our dog loved being by the beach and was very comfortable in the cabin. We would have liked to have had a fence around the decking. Maybe some of the cabins could be provided with this and in a more quiet spot for pet owners. Our dog thought he had to protect his territory and did bark a bit at other dogs!

    Carnac town was quaint and worth a short walk. Plenty of choices of restaurants. Very good value for money in the town itself. The plage area was very easy to walk around. Crepes at Crepes a La plage were delicious and I am not sure why previous reviews were so low.
