- From $243.69 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 675 reviewsEscape from the stressful cities to a charming French village? This was the gem I was looking for. No buzzing cars, no background noise—just the soothing sounds of nature. At night, an owl chatters from its perch in the tree, and in the morning, you're greeted by dragonflies zooming by. From the first look at the property, everything shows great attention to detail, from the tasteful vintage decorations to the immaculate cleanliness (inside the rooms, it's a 10/10; outside, it’s a bit more lived-in, which adds character and avoids the sterile feel of a designer hotel). There are plenty of spots to sit and relax, including a swimming lane, a larger pool, a spacious spa that can be reserved privately, and a roomy terrace, all just a short walk away. It has very romantic vibes but is also perfect for those who want to disconnect and read or write a book. After touring the room and the grounds of the hotel, another delightful surprise awaited. The restaurant offers a fine dining experience with an expertly crafted 7-course discovery menu called "Emotions," beautifully paired with their selection of wines. The dedication of Chef Maxime Lesobre and Chef Saé Haségawa to their craft was palpable in every course served. Having read the outdated Michelin Guide review afterwards, I felt it didn’t do justice to the symphony of flavors they managed to unleash. As for value for money, there’s no question—it exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend the experience, go for it. Finally, a special mention goes to the spa, which offers a genuine spa experience with a well-rounded selection of treatments and massages. It reflects the same dedication to quality and cozy atmosphere as the rest of the property. My only regret is not having had more time to fully indulge in everything they offer.Guest review byMaurizioLuxembourg
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,271 reviewsThe warm reception and service and the lovely room! The owner, Vanessa and Receptionist, Rosemary, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They gave excellent recommendations of things to see and do, and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. The restaurants were outstanding, and they even made the reservations for us. Our room (a suite) was spacious and comfortable. Large windows let in lots of light. The bathroom was large and comfortable. We slept in every day (it was vacation, after all!) and never made it to breakfast, but after the first day, Vanessa handed us a bag with croissants every day in our way out the door! Highly recommend! (Just be aware it is about a seven minute drive into the heart of Beaune Center. Not a big deal- there is free public parking)Guest review byRoseMarieUnited States

I like the small town vibe which is a relaxing trip.
I like the small town vibe which is a relaxing trip. Follow the owl trail to see all the important sights. Bonus is that we went to 3 wonderful museums for free. How generous of Dijon to offer that to all! You can walk everywhere in the center. Try the different Dijon mustard.Guest review byVangieUnited States - 8.0

We stop in Nuits St Georges on drives from UK to South of France. Its perfectly mid way, great location from the motorway and has plenty to offer. The town center has been updated since our last trip and the mix of traditional architecture and modern stone and fountains in the center of town work well together. There are a number of bars and we sat at a really great bar with a fabulous vibe drinking great draught beer and people watching. After the long drive from Calais to Nuits St George we decided to skip a restaurant and hit the local Carrefour supermarket for wine and picnic items, but, in the past we've eaten at local restaurants and there are plenty to chose from. Great place to stop, relax and rewind for the onward journey.Guest review byTina & DellFrance - 10

Loved that the breakfast was buffet as I had a hungry toddler with me. The fact that you can choose when to have your room cleaned was superb. Supermarket and bus stop few minutes away which was so convenient. How they have a 24hr machine to check you in even at 3am (my flight was delayed had no issues getting into my room) which was a big bonus!👍🏾Guest review byAwaUnited Kingdom - 10

We used this hotel for an overnight stay on our way from Belgium to Spain. We arrived late and the hotel staff deposited the room keys in a special place for us. Very handy for late arrivals. The next day, I forgot the charger of my electric tooth brush in the bathroom and the staff was extremely helpful to find it back and help me recover it with the help of some friends of mine who stayed at the hotel a couple of days later. Very friendly service and ideal place for our purposes.Guest review byBettinaBelgium - 8.0

I was en route between the south of France and the UK and Dijon was a convenient stop over. I found the hotel on the Booking.com website and it fitted my needs for a room and a meal after a long drive. It is a few kilometres from the centre of Dijon but on a main road to the city. The staff at reception and the restaurant made me feel welcome and the room was clean and well presented as were the public areas. I had a quiet and comfortable night's sleep in spite of it being at the time of the July heatwave. The facility was as described, it is not fancy but was more than adequate for my purposes.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10

Mersault was a cosy and charming little village in the heart of Bourgogne wine area. You can taste wines in numerous wine shops and domaines. We had dinner in an excellent restaurant Au Fil du Clos. We overnighted in a very charming privet-owned hotel/B&B Charles V.Guest review byRiikkaFinland - 6.0
Lovely clean city can walk everywhere.
Lovely clean city can walk everywhere. Not much to see after 3 days at most unless you're filming a medieval period film or have to work or study. I say take a a late night walk through the city with the open empty pedestrian streets and no humans around. Quite impressive. But nah..not much else. Good afternoon stopover. Furthermore Dijon needs to let go of their co-dependent relationship with mustard. The seeds are no longer grown there. :) They are imported.Guest review byLaurieFrance - 8.0

We arrived in Beaune at 5pm on day 1 and stayed there for 3 nights, Day 2 we did a morning wine tasting in and spent the rest of the day in Dijon. Day 3 we had a whole day in Beaune which is probably enough to explore the grand 'Hospices De Beaune' (to do this probperly can take a whole morning as there is lots to learn about the history of the building) and walk around the cobbled streetsGuest review byNicki56United Kingdom
